I have not seen the image, if it is as described, then in addition to the legal action from the Vatican, Benetton can now expect death threats and firebombings from the followers of the imam.

Each one protests in their own way.

Oh Benetton oh Benneton! All of this crazy stuff just to get more attention from around the world?? I guess it is working and it would be funny to see President Obama say kissing Fidel?? Or say Fidel Castro kissing his beloved long lost son from Venezuela, Hugo Chavez??

Would it be too much to ask for you to not spread hate for imaginary reasons?

Kudos to the marketing dept at benetton once again. Mission accomplished and a job well done.

Didn't they do this back in the nineties? I seem to remember a slain Mafia boss and some other contraversial images way back from Benetton...
