Looks like barack's strategy of dissing small-town America in front of a group of uber-rich plutocrats was not too smart.
WhiteHawk: First, welcome back. Yeah, Sen. McCain is not the best choice for the GOP nod this time around. Too liberal for my tastes. But watching barack and hillary bring down the democrats better than Karl Rove could have possibly imagined is a great silver lining in this cloud that hovers over this general election cycle.
You know right now the high holy democrat poobahs are in absolute agony. For months now, hillary and barack have been squabbling like children in a sandbox over "caucuses" and "super delegates" and have absolutely no understanding that the bulk of America thinks they are perfect fools. The heneral election is just gonna have to slap the dems upside the head once again.
If ever there was a time for Howard Dean to scream at the top of his lungs, now is it.
redacted - "Barack now looks like he can't win the big ones, even when it is his own party voting."
Your point is moot. Obama is beating Hillary in every count.
"Why do you think taka313 and betzee and the usual JT "liberals" aren't here?"
Probably they just became too embarrassed with the realization that reality holdouts like yourself hold the same passports as them.
redacted - "maybe you should finish up here in Japan - I mean, your taxes are indirectly supporting US foreign policy - and try your luck elsewhere in Asia."
To see that you think my country of residence and where my taxes go has anything to do with the subject of this thread simply underlines further just how out of touch you are.
Romeo - "For months now, hillary and barack have been squabbling like children in a sandbox over "caucuses" and "super delegates" and have absolutely no understanding that the bulk of America thinks they are perfect fools."
Ha ha, it would be funny if that were even remotely reflective of reality.
Funny thing is, record numbers of Americans are voting for them.
Far more than are voting for your Last Choice candidate.
I mean, who did you initially vote for? - Who-liani 9-11?
Or was it Mitt Romney? No, hang on - wasn't it Ron Paul?
No matter, I can't help noticing you, redacted, et al, are in a position you never wanted to be in, with your back against the wall, finding yourself with no choice but to support the very candidate you never would have supported if you had a real choice.
Read, weep, gnash teeth, change subject, wave hands in the other guy's face:
"Clinton said donors had contributed more than $3 million to her candidacy in the hours since her Pennsylvania victory, some of it from thousands of new donors. Her campaign said she was on track for raising $10 million in the first 24 hours after her victory."

Nessie, if you're half black in America, you're black. But you make a point. If he's half white, why isn't he considered white then?
There used to be a measure in Mississippi I believe, that if your ancestry was as little as 1/32 black, you were black. But you could be 31/32 white and be considered black.
Then there are blacks that have skin that is as white or whiter than mine, why are they considered black?

He outspent HRC 2:1 in PA and got his butt kicked.
Not a lot of bang for his buck.
You'd better dig deeper.
He accepts foreign coin.

so the choices are -Clinton - the first women pres -Obama - the first black pres -McCain - the oldest pres
for age, I pick Obama; for looks, Obama; for skills, no one; for issues, no one. Clearly the winner will be Obama!

Who's leading the fight for the Democratic nomination again?
That's right, the next President who is going to be ruling over you - Barack Obama.

"Obama - the first black pres"
Actually, he's only half black. Why do liberals overlook that fact?
