The author of this "news article" seems to be steering the reader to conclude that a military option in Iran is inevitable.
This is predictive programming.
Go back 9 years and the same articles were written about Iraq

Iran and regime change?? Not too sure if these fools running that country will ever understand that the USA and other countries that do not want Iran to be a so called nuclear power, are not going to let weaker countries like Japan, China get in the way of stopping Iran, the last thing this world needs is for these Taliban type fools to have a nuclear bomb, just ask the Arabs and Israelis, go up to them and say, So what do you think about Persians?? Oh, and them having nuclear bombs pointed at say Tel Aviv and or Saudi Arabia??

I am no expert, ( I doubt you are either!) but I believe that at the moment Iran is locked into buying nuclear fuel rods for its reactors from outside Iran, and that is either the honest reason or the sneaky excuse for their enrichment program.
Again, I am no expert, but why not just make a deal to sell the Iranians the fuel rods at a price lower than they could possibly ever produce them themselves. I don't think fuel rods can be converted for a bomb, at least not without great and obvious effort.
If they don't take that deal, then wait a few months (we still have time), declare war, limit that war to surgically striking all nuke facilities, and end the state of war if and when Tehran agrees to do no more enrichments of 20 percent or more.
Don't attack me if there is some hole in my idea. I am willing to rework my thoughts if you have some good information.
