Just in time for elections in 2012. Well, I wonder what she will want. Governor? Senator?

Never did understand the popularity of these "talk shows" in the USA, with anchors and hosts elevated to God-like status. Without their researchers, scriptwriters, producers and the rest of the media circus, these people would be nothing...

    Looks like Rush Limbaugh wins.

Oprah was liberal America's big blowhard. She will be a tough act to follow.

Don't feel bad. The non-Americans here understand next to nothing about the United States.

"The non-Americans here understand next to nothing about the United States."

My guess is that the non-Americans here don't WANT to know next to nothing about the United Sates. No?

"You get a car! You get a car! You get a car! Everybody gets a car!"

Oprah isn't very eco-conscious, is she?

25 years is a long run for any TV show.

I didn't realize Oprah has been on TV this long. Perhaps I should tune in once to see what the hubbub is all about.

Thank god, but she will be back and that's not a threat as much as it is a certainty.

Obviously she regrets her role in getting the affirmative action candidate elected in our last presidential election.

  • 5SpeedRacer5 at 05:18 AM JST - 21st November

    USAexpat...."she will be back "

I think it is included in the article, but might not be. If not I read it somewhere. One reason she will end the show is that she will be running OWN... the Oprah Winfrey Network. Not joking. And she already has a film and TV studio, which is Harpo.

I guess in light of that, the following comment is in order...to victimcrat.... it looks like Rush Limbaugh loses.

Oprah Winfrey provides a nouthpiece to lilly livered Liberals at every opportunity. She gives them free reign to say as they wish and gives traditional Conservatives a raw deal.

Her programs are for uber liberal airheads.

  • Helter_Skelter at 12:46 PM JST - 22nd November

She's only 55 years old. I hope she saved up enough for retirement.

Now if we can only somehow get The View off the air.
