Never did understand the popularity of these "talk shows" in the USA, with anchors and hosts elevated to God-like status. Without their researchers, scriptwriters, producers and the rest of the media circus, these people would be nothing...

Oprah was liberal America's big blowhard. She will be a tough act to follow.

I am a non Yank and I watched Oprah interview Palin.Left the door wide open for Palin to take over,cuz she got no shot at winning the presidency.

I think it is included in the article, but might not be. If not I read it somewhere. One reason she will end the show is that she will be running OWN... the Oprah Winfrey Network. Not joking. And she already has a film and TV studio, which is Harpo.

I guess in light of that, the following comment is in order...to victimcrat.... it looks like Rush Limbaugh loses.

Oprah Winfrey provides a nouthpiece to lilly livered Liberals at every opportunity. She gives them free reign to say as they wish and gives traditional Conservatives a raw deal.

Her programs are for uber liberal airheads.
