Come on lady. That was Beiber fever. If you are deaf it's because you had a pre-existing condition.

If you listened to "My Way" over and over again at high volume of course it's your fault.

However, there should have been a warning label or statement on Beiber's CD that listening to his voice at high decibel levels can cause auditory inflammation, which could lead to permanent damage of the ear drum. It is after all, Justin Beiber.

Beiber's lawyer will no doubt argue that the high pitch falsetto's of pre-pubescent girls and teens is the most likely cause of your permanent disability.

My wife and I went to a rock concert in Tokyo and the volume was so loud we walked out. People are stupid to subject their aural apparatus to this kind of abuse. I hope the woman wins her lawsuit, but I doubt if it will convince other venues to turn down the volume.

Hah, they should have gone to an Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Judas Priest, etc concert. Even with ear-plugs our hearing was impaired for 30 min afterwards or decided on another place. Hearing still fine now.

No way Pieber can top those and similar concerts.

Heck, it's a rock concert. If you have any common sense, bring a ear plug to the concert. That will solve everything. I've gone to concerts that you think are mellow but they turned out to be mega decibals. Just be prepared and you will enjoy the show regardless of how loud it is.

Any exposure to JB is detrimental, even at low volumes.

This woman's daughter with whom she went to the concert obviously had no such problems. Sounds like an individual thing. You can make instant earplugs out of a simple sheet of tissue if things get too loud, or even put your fingers in your ears. Or did her pride not let her?

I guess her powerball numbers didn't come through, so she is doing the next logical thing, sue! The new American pastime!

    100% Correct!

Problem is that juries in America have no problem awarding stupid huge settlements because it's the insurance companies that have to pay. People in America no longer take responsibility for their own actions, what ever happens is because of what some one else did or didn't do.

Then the question comes up, if this lady has damage after just one of his concerts, why doesn't he have damage after having performed how many concerts? Give me a break, every one knows that music/rock concerts are loud.
