Looks likes the Republicans want to run against Sanders.
Kurobune
Boy, they are going to start coming out of the woodwork, huh ? HRC must be doing something right. Scaring some folks.

Yep. Its orchestrated. And don't you I just love is how the 'independent conservatives' white males, who pride themselves on their rugged individuality and clear-eyed common sense, fall for it every time.
Suckers.
Wc626
Ha-ha . . . .those "dirty" clintons' got a lot of baggage and dirty laundry following them.
Sure its orchestrated (dwn and dirty politicics.) But it still doesn't change the fact that Monica went dwn on Bill in the White House. That was just so wrong!
FizzBit
Gee, thanks for pointing out the obvious. What isn't orchestrated in a presidential campaign?
It's not that Hillary is doing anything especially right, she has the backing, $$$, of the establishment and A LOT of women. But that's not enough. It's only a matter of time as the primaries get going that her numbers will go down, and keep going down, IMO. I'd put $100 on it.
And when
will get a lot of negative backlash as well. Bad move IMO. You don't insult your potential base like that, especially the ones that might be still sitting on the fence.
MarkG
It takes a village FB.

I believe Bill did or does have a problem but Kathleen Willey is probably the least credible of all the women that have come forward. She has repeatedly been caught contradicting her own sworn testimony and offering a series of implausible and conspiratorial claims about the Clintons' alleged efforts to silence her. Hillary is in serious trouble but this is going to unintentionally help more than hurt her.
Laguna
Agree, Lizz. Bill was certainly a philanderer, and whatever all the literature supporting the theory that such behavior is inherent in "alpha males" - precisely those who target the presidency - let us not forget that Hillary was equally a victim.
Marriage is difficult. Monogamy is difficult. Hell, life is difficult. But Hillary managed to work this out with Bill. Normally, the Christian Right would applaud and support their struggles, but they're Democrats so apparently beyond redemption.
Hillary could turn this on a dime if push does come to shove. The GOP is foolish to pursue such a reckless strategy alienating women as well as men.
PTownsend
Whoever's in the background financing the dirty tricks seems to understand that many US Americans get confused by issues of substance so it's easier to appeal to their narrowly defined and situational morality. The right wing hires Karl Rove, Stone etal to come up with memes - usually 7 words or less - for the unable-to-think-critically to spout until it becomes viral then metastasizes. Again, back to Goebbels.
Is that the way you have reduced his 8 years in office?
Yes, I'm aware both sides sling mud, but the right has mastered dirty tricks and political framing.
MarkG
It may be a result of Hillary trying to use gender as a voting point. Reasonable voters don't care what race or what gender just the best person wins. Female or male is not a rally call for same gender votes.
Regarding the Bill indiscretions, Hillary has tolerated them. Is that good? Is it wrong to kick him to the curb? Do they have an "agreement" where Bill can pursue the gals and come home to Hillary? I have known each of those types, who is doing the right thing for the relationship? Each have there associated complications.
Wc626
When the USS Cole was bombed in Yemen, he did nothing. The whole Blackhawk incident was a disaster- on his watch. He allowed for the al Qaida build up as he neglected foreign policy. . . All he cared about was Monica and chasing other skirts running around the White House.
. . . And some people say Trump is a sexist woman basher. (Sheesh)
arrestpaul
Times have changed. Just ask Bill Cosby. People no longer wish to excuse Bill Clinton's molesting of women, and Hillary's enabling of it, as a political necessity. Today's voters can choose Bernie.
MarkG
Wc, you neglected to mention it was slick Willy who first attacked bin laden and missed. Did it ignite the al Qaida desire to retaliate against USA?
Wc626
(RofL . . .) you've just compared Bill clinton to Bill cosby. Ohh, what a knee slapper that was-
nath
Bill's sexual indiscretions were irrelevant to his ability to preside, and are even less relevant to Hillary's ability to do so.
Americans are so weird that way in that way. Blinded by the right.
MarkG
Isn't it a measure of charachter if one can be faithful? Is it also an indication of honesty if one is a cheater?
Was Hillary an enabler or just doesn't care?
In both a flaw in charachter exists.
Wc626
Okay, that's a reasonable statement. . . . but the fact that the guy was doing those inappropriate "things" in the white house itself and while on the job disgraces the US Presidency as a whole. Blinded? More like seeing it clearly and calling it what it is- shameful.
turbotsat
Hillary has her own problem with women. Of course, some people won't care about her drawbacks, as long as a Democrat wins.

Maybe - but it still doesn't have any bearing on one's ability to be an effective president.
It's an indication on his honesty with his wife, not with the people.
It's irrelevant. And 'enabler' wouldn't be the right word if she was ok with it, because he wouldn't be cheating if she was ok with it, so there would be nothing to enable.

msnbc.com/msnbc/fbi-formally-confirms-its-investigation-hillary-clintons-email-server
Now that the FBI has formally admitted there is an ongoing criminal investigation around her email server, there’s a body of thought that Hillary can pardon herself after taking office. Then her only jeopardy would be impeachment and conviction by Congress. I still say there is a better chance of that scenario than being indicted and allowing Trump to win by default. You could not even make this crap up anymore.
Laguna
Good question, Mark! Inquiring minds want to know! Two points. First, there is zero information regarding how Bill and Hillary patched up their marriage. Anything you read or say is simply speculation. Second, there is a third, far more likely option (enabler? didn't care? sheesh - have you ever been in a male/female relationship?) that you (conveniently) did not mention: that Hillary did care very much but worked to save her marriage anyway.
nath
I think that body of thought existed before the FBI admitted they were investigating her. On top of that, you realize she still hasn't been found to have done anything wrong, right?
And yet, you keep on speaking as if she has been found guilty already.
But that option would make her look good. The right can't have people thinking that.
turbotsat
I guess it's next-to-useless posting this stuff for people with blue-tinted glasses. The only chance they'd see it is if they took their glasses off to clean them, and how often is that likely to happen, really?

So Billy offered his Willy to Wiley too. I forgot about her. Go getem girl.
bass4funk
We sure do, we really, really do!!!
Not for the women and families it's not, not even close.
She stood by and allowed it, said nothing. Supported an enabler, a prowler.
nath
How do you know she didn't give him permission to sleep around? In that case there wouldn't be anything to enable, as it wouldn't have been cheating.
nandakandamanda
This says quite a bit about her character.
Quote from article: "she came to him tearfully seeking a paid job."
Madverts
Heh, a what job?
She's a crank. Bill Clinton likes the ladies but he's no Bill Cosby. More slime being oozed from the Republican nut house.
badsey3
Kathleen Willey has little (if any) credibility, but this is a Woman that lost her husband to "suicide."
turbotsat
He probably told Monica all kinds of lies.
For one thing, search google images for "Hillary wedding dress" and see what she looked like when he married her.
Or search images for Paula Jones. If he didn't pursue her, what was the $850K settlement paid out to her for?
He just told Monica what she wanted to hear.
Laguna
Meta-debates are chats about electability and innuendo - fun for sure ultimately pointless. As an example, let's look at the supposedly-saintly Jeb! as an example:
In 1999, while he was governor of Florida, his wife, Columba, was fined for declaring only $500 worth of goods to U.S. Customs on her return from Paris, where she actually made close to $20,000 in purchases of clothing and jewelry. Less than a year later, she took out a loan to buy $42,311.70 worth of jewelry in a single day; she later also spent at least $90,000 at a single South Florida chain store. Jewelry has a particularly symbolic value. Perhaps she has issues with her husband and doubts about the stability of their relationship.
But that's the wife, a more independent entity. How about the kids, someone he had more influence over? Well, in 2012, his daughter, Noelle, was arrested at age 24 for alleged prescription fraud while trying to buy a tranquilizer, Xanax, and in 2005, his son, Jeb Jr., then 21, was arrested in Texas for public intoxication and resisting arrest. Things have not improved much since then.
My point is that no family is perfect; scrutinize any candidate and you'll likely find similar skeletons. How a family pulls together is quite more telling. That is truth, and that is how a majority of Americans will judge the candidates.

Yes Hil-LIAR-y has her own problem with women because she and her husband has to compete for them. Ask yourself when have you EVER seen this women in a dress or skirt, she is not lady like. Every outfit she wears is a pants suit, so you go figure. When you see pictures of her in the media the pictures are taken from just above the breast up and close never a full photo. She has a lot of baggage and she can not be trusted!
Fadamor
No one held a gun to her head.
Madverts
Exactly, Fadamor.
Lewinsky was infatuated with him.
"I'm going to the White House to get my presidential kneepads." - Lewinsky in 1992, before she left for Washington, according to her friend Kathy Bleiler
Typical Republicans screeching like macaque's about consensual adultery nearly 25 years ago, but strangely silent when their own types are caught with meth and gay prostitutes, or even feeling up other blokes in public toilets - in much more recent times.
Bottom line? People's private lives shouldn't be public knowledge as long as it is legal and consensual...

Yes,republicans wanna run against Sanders, same as Hillary wanna run against Trump. Yes,Hillary is making full use of gender.but i dont think will work.i still believe neither Trump nor Hillary will succeed.I have a hope(not a dream)Sanders will surprise us.
Jerome_from_Utah
Back in 1992, along with coining the term "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy", Hillary was also in charge of the Bimbo Eruption Unit. This was the outfit that worked overtime to silence, intimidate, and/or denigrate any woman who brought up Slick Willy's indiscretions. Later, she came out with the idea that victims of sexual assault need respectful attention. Well, she should be careful of what she requests because it looks like there will be a lot of "attention". Some folks call that Karma.

Depends upon who it was with, if it was with a fellow employee, more importantly with a subordinate, one could argue that is extremely unethical and that there is a very strong potential of abuse of power/relationship between the subordinate and superior.

"Kathleen Willey, a former White House volunteer who says Bill Clinton (allegedly) groped her in an Oval Office hallway in 1993"
background: Kathleen Willey made her allegations March 15, 1998 on TV news program "60 Minutes".
Kathleen Willey has milked this cow for over two decades. That cow must be as dry as beef jerky and just as tired of Kathleen Willey as everyone else. A disgruntled loser looks for a book deal and perpetual income from her lies? Just like the GOP ShiaTea?
(Willey appeared multiple times on FOXNews with the same cry baby routine in 2007. They like cry baby at FOXNews.)
For Kathleen Willey this is just another way to cash up for her retirement and the GOP ShiaTea's chance to talk endlessly about anything fictional.
(Unlike George W. Bush's Wars of Lies where thousands of American and International soldiers were killed as result of Bush's planned and deliberate lies? Not to mention the innocent civilians.)
While Willey plays to an audience who can't remember who she is, MIT made a little study of the consequence of Bush's wars.
"We have a better grasp of the human costs of the war. For example, the U.N. estimates that there are about 4.5 million displaced Iraqis—more than half of them refugees—or about one in every six citizens, a very high number. Only 5 percent have chosen to return to their homes over the past year, a period of reduced violence from the high levels of 2005-07." . . . "By any sensible measure, it would be difficult to describe this as victory of any kind. It speaks volumes about the repair work we must do for Iraqis, and in the Arab and Muslim world more generally. And it should caution is against the savage wars we are prone to, even as the drum roll for attacks against other countries picks up."
Get a better look at the GOP ShiaTea and their greatest accomplishments the last time they took the White House from the American People:

Bill Clinton has a history of molesting and abusing women. Hillary has a history of abusing the women who accused Billy of molesting and abusing them. The times they are a' changing. Women were once afraid of accusing powerful men like Bill Cosby of molesting and abusing them - back then. Now, women are standing up to the abusers. Women who vote.
Women voters know Bernie never molested or abused women.
turbotsat
I think you're overestimating voters.
I posted a few times on here how Hillary as a defense lawyer filed a victim-shaming affidavit against a 12-y-o rape victim, and laughed about getting her client off with a light sentence in the face of damning evidence and two witnesses besides the victim and the perpertrator. And got zero response from the liberal posters.
Do you really think voters are going to switch to Bernie en masse over Bill and Hillary's women issues? I think they're just going to ignore all that and vote the candidate they hope can beat the GOP, or the first female candidate who ever had a chance of winning the general election. They don't really care much about women's rights. They wouldn't elect someone like that if they did.
Wolfpack
The rapes/sexual assaults may have been consensual for Bill and Hillary but do you expect us to believe that his victims were okay with this as well? Remember, if a women says she was sexually assaulted she must be believed.
arrestpaul
It's possible. Hillary really isn't a very likeable person. Bill has, and is, a popular personality. Bernie has gone from "zero to hero" in just a few months. He tied Hillary in Iowa and trounced her in New Hampshire.
It looks like the American voters from both parties are looking for something "new and improved" (figuratively-speaking, of course), as opposed to the same ol' party hacks like Hillary and Bush III.
nath
Yes, Dems have a choice this election between victim shaming Hilary Clinton and all women have rape fantasies Bernie Sanders.
What a powerful progressive leadership, so empowering to women.
