I read a ton on the Woods thing and find it kind of sad but funny too. But to tell you the truth, I cannot recall one ad on any of the pages. I do not ever recall clicking any ad. Do any of you?

Truthfully, people have tried to get me to talk about this, and I find it entirely uninteresting. Big deal. I feel bad for his dad more than anyone. His son used to be a man, but he has become a toy.
I have not sought any information about it. I find it strange that it titillates people.

My most often repeated words on this have been: "mind your own business." I pray for a state of affairs that makes that possible, such as closing down publications that print what is NOT OUR BUSINESS.

Hey Numb, you cannot close them down as they own them and the public

Is all about the $$$ -good or bad publicity doesn't matter. -Expect a Tiger Woods product at a store near you soon. (they are ramping up production in China as we speak)

To the sponsors and the press, yes. To Tiger? Probably not.
No. It depends on the industry and what the owners think. And to Tiger, I am sure it matters a great deal.

I agree. And this is exactly what is wrong with, well, sports in general. Even what the fans think is, as we can see, pretty messed up. Tiger is a tool and a product to be sold. I don't care how much money he has, it does not even show that he can manage resources. Apparently, he can't even manage his pants.
Some years ago, someone, I think someone on JT, coined the term SPORNO. One of my friends got their picture in one of those tabloids, so I bought a bunch of them the other day. What a bunch of sorry crud they print in those. The fanboys are all aged 50 and older just drooling over some 18 year old boy. It is presented as extremely homo-erotic, with lots of red and yellow, with almost every advert showing a breast or penis. Baseball is everywhere... and it is December.
Fans of all sports are similar. The games mean very little and are often uninteresting. They are fashion shows for young muscular men. As we can see, being a sports figure of almost any kind has very little to do with being a good person.
