OMG!! Everybody go out there and shop until you drop!!! I have a feeling that India and China will do just fine though, and time for Japan, USA, the EU to rethink their economic policies.

The West needs new leadership with vision or it could get ugly. Running back to Karl Marx at break neck speed is pure stupidity.
It would be easier if the election was moved up a year and Obama could be voted out of office this November instead of next.

As an American and a registered Democrat I would like to apologize to Europe and the world for the complete disaster that President Barack Obama has been. He is no JFK. He is no Bill Clinton. He is no Harry Truman.

Now all the people who bought gold are sitting on their pile just as the rich relative of Donald Duck did in the comics. Nobody can eat gold. In the USA many people believe the only metal to buy is copper clad lead. Maybe the Japanese should start stocking up on highly polished sharp steel since the self defense forces will not be able to protect them when the world economy completely fails.

Try this idea economist. If Japan and the USA give county X $8 billion is foreign aid, DEMAND that the country order a minimum of 25% of it in goods or services from that country. Just imagine Karsai ordering three hundred of Kabota built heavy equipment. And, if every country had that requirement , the unemployment rate would list only those too lazy to work. This idea is on President Obama's desk. and is waiting for a response. Anyone who wants to send it on to every member of the Diet is welcome to do so.

To live on this planet we should recycle, reduce and avoid buying -that is the way to save the (our) environment.
The alternative is the end of the human race.............

No worries, the Chinese, with their voracious appetite for oil and worldly goods will fuel the world economy, right?
