I'm surprised no comments yet. Maybe its just too gruesome? A friend of mine on the TMPD has told me more than once, that the stench from a deceased body escalates dramatically and becomes unbearable with time. Just stuffing a body in a wall and not imagining any repurcussions is plain dumb. But so is the act of taking another persons life for whatever reason so.....

Okay, here's your comment. If found guilty, let's see the punishment made to fit the crime. The killer should be made to spend the rest of his life naked in a laboratory rat cage, and used for medical experiments.

So it was not a sexual fixation, or an ex-boyfriend or even a stalker...he possibly killed her over an arguement concerning mice??? I would agree with Beelzebubs idea, but sounds like he`d probably bond with the rats...

Motive? It does not even seem premeditated. It is weirder than that. He killed her in some kind of rage, probably she slighted him by not wearing her shoe protectors. She is small and Asian and a woman. He is an ex athlete. She was on her way to further success, and he was taking the slow escalator to... well... lab maintenance. Lots of room for resentment there if you listen to talk radio these days. She is all smily in photographs, but she might have had some kind of enmity with this guy. She was driven in her work and might have even been harsh with the guy. He is 1.5 to 2 times her size, so he grabbed her when he got angry enough. She resisted, but he choked and killed her.

Then he had a real problem. With all the cameras and everything, how was he going to get the body out? He couldn't. He hoped things might blow over, but if he tried to access her purse or something, his passkey would show that. He was stuck. What could he do but brass it out? So he stuffed her in a little place he knew about and hoped that things would just go away. He had to keep going to work, etc.

If she had not been scheduled to be married, people might have shrugged it off. If the investigation had taken some other turn and brought the heat off, he had the tools and chemicals to dispose of the body... even an incinerator, apparently.

It is good police work. Looks like they got the guy. They didn't let him get away. Nice.
