They have a video of the fire. Just insane to watch. Suddenly everyone is engulfed in a red ball of fire and all you see is dark outlines of people running in a sea of red.

Agree with SuperLib, it's a nightmare. The secondary explosion and subsequent, in a split-second, fireball made a huge SEA of fire. I'm amazed only one person (so far) has died, and am not surprised so many suffered burns.

"The company which produced the starch said users had been warned of a potential fire hazard."

If they had been warned, the organizers should be jailed, and likely will be as things get worse. Good on the company for taking the product off the shelves -- shame they didn't do it sooner, but not like they had known since it had never happened.

Any products which had to be warned should be prohibited to sell.

It depends on what their primary purpose is. Surely you're not suggesting gasoline or oil products in general be banned because they might catch fire, are you? In the case of the starch obviously it is not something we can live without, but the bottom line is that the warnings were not followed and the product used in dangerous situations.

WTF was the promoter thinking? The promoter should be tried and the bullet sent home for their relatives to pay for it.
