Funny how ZANU-PF are challenging the results of the Presidential poll which haven't even been released yet. Robert Mugabe should simply accept that his people, by and large, hate him for destroying their economy and shortening their collective life expectancy by a matter of decades.

The more Mugabe tries to put off the inevitable, the more bad for him it will be when the end comes

I might say that it's pretty unbelieveable to hear complaints about supposed electoral fraud from a government which has used physical violence and the threat of withdrawing food aid in an attempt to terrorise people into supporting them.

Mugabe and his criminal "war veterans" deserve exactly what's coming to them

The Commonwealth failed the people of Zimbabwe.

Actually, maybe it would be more accurate to say the Commonwealth has failed.

So it wouldnt have anything to do with Mugabe then redacted?

redacted - I think if you asked the vast majority of Zimbabweans, the Commonwealth would not be high on their list of who to blame for their current situation. Their 84-year-old President, however...

notimpressed - redacted thinks that the US failure in Iraq is the fault of the British Empire, so you can hardly expect him to ignore Mugabe's paranoid ranting about neo-colonialism, which is about as influential on Zimbabwe's economy as South Africa's spineless refusal to condemn their revolutionary brother has been

haha thats hilarious. Yeh of course the light and truth that is the US would never fail without the entire evil british empyre plotting and scheming to make em look bad on their big day. Just jealous because thier own empire that isnt an empire is not quite what they expected. I guess its what happens when you try to emulate that which you despise the most. Mugabe is a very bad man, to deny that and place the blame somewhere else is stupid. Perhaps its the commonwealths responsibilty to seize power by blowing up half the civilians, getting the odd bad guy here and there, then trying to model the rebuilding process on Japan, because they have so much in common. ha genius
