C'mon - it's a man's game, stop being a bunch of sissies. How about cracking down on the pathetic diving we usually witness - that is even more of a cancer in the sport. Witness the Italians in the Second Round 2006 WC vs Socceroos.....

FIFA and National soccer everywhere needs to improve. Fifa wants crackdowns,if it makes things better, why not.
200 over members of FIFA no longer able to bring out or create players of calibre. In the 70s,80s and 90s so many players of calibre, nowadays so few. Why????

I have to disagree about this, Buraku: in games with legs worth hundreds of millions of dollars, fans and hoolingans watching, national prides involved, latest fashion stadia and multi-national sponsors, one can never be too careful about injuries. Just imagine what kind of situation we would have if a Kiwi broke a Soccerros' leg, and won the match... The only exception is France, they deserved to have their legs, and hands, broken with baseball bats.
