I dont know who is the bigger idiot is in the case- the Japanese Police officer just taking his god given Japanesemale liberties on a weak and unworthy female or the husband who stood their watching his wife get a thorough cavity search from the yaparai Japanese police officer. I know the Japanese are a pretty cowardly race but if my wife was being groped in front of me I would act in a more serious manner to prevent the groping besides watching in great stress. Its obvious the husband enjoys to watch and was probably disappointed that the supposed perpetrator got off the train too soon ergo turned him in to the local police.
did force the police officer off the train at the next stop. So it was not like he made a complete idiot of himself.
But personally, I think he just gave up what most people only dream about, and that is have a damn good reason to kick the living b'jesus out of a cop.
I personally would have swung first and asked questions later.

Reading about this latest incident put me in mind of two things:
1. I was once groped by an elderly man who had a woman who was clearly his wife sitting on the other side of him. I was so shocked that all I could do was get off the train at the next stop.
2. A drunken man groped me when my young son was beside me (he probably didn't realize we were together). When I got off the train, I told my son what had happened and he was very angry - said, "Mom, why didn't you tell me? I would've done something."
I do wonder if groping allegations are made more believable when male witnesses lodge the complaints, rather than the female victims.
Shut up, and read the article again.
" husband who stood their watching his wife get a thorough cavity search"
Where did it said this? WHERE?
All it said was "witnessed Hoshimura's actions... handed him over... making him get off the train at the station."
What I got from this was "Old dude is drunk. Old dude grabs or touches woman. Husband says hey what the hey are you doing. Old man notices husband. Husband grabs old man drags him outside and gets the police.
"I know the Japanese are a pretty cowardly race"
Just shut up already.
"if my wife was being groped in front of me I would act in a more serious manner to prevent the groping besides watching"
Again idiot where does it say this?
I never knew about groping since arriving here or about compensated dating with teens.
I must tell you that I am happy to be in Japan and to be very active in the above two activites.
Thank you very much Japan and to all the hentai salarymen for making this so very normal.

She was lucky she was only been groped, if this was in the states she may have been raped by the cops.

Girls are four times more likely to suffer childhood sexual abuse than boys? [The Clothesline Project, Cape Cod Women's Agenda.]
Clearly, the sexual abuse of children - girls in particular - is widespread. Fortunately, theres much parents, teachers and concerned adults can do to prevent and detect the problem.
Recognizing Signs of Child Sexual Abuse
Many of the behavioral signs that connote sexual abuse are the same indicators of other childhood stressors, like divorce, or problems in school. Any one sign doesn't mean a child was abused, but several suggest you should investigate further. According to StopItNow!, behaviors to look for include:
http://www.stopitnow.com/info.htmhttp://www.thesandiegochannel.com/sand/news/storie...8 Out Of 10 Rapes Committed By Someone The Victim Knows Acquaintance rape
SAN DIEGO -- After several rape incidents in the Hillcrest and North Park area, 10News wanted to know where rape occurred most in San Diego County. The answer: anywhere. Anywhere, because 8 out of 10 rapes are committed by someone the victim knows.
Acquaintance rape is usually pegged with "date rape." But, Sgt. Joanne Archambault from the San Diego Police Department sex crimes unit said that is a myth.
"A lot of people think date rape is about two people in the back seat of a car on Friday night and there is a miscommunication and a rape occurs. That's not the case," Archambault said.
"These are cases where [the victim] knew the person because they were a friend of a friend, went to school together years ago, or worked together. She went with this person because she thought she could trust him," Archambault added.
Archambault said that acquaintance rape attackers are predators that chose their victims carefully.
According to Archambault, victims are usually a female between the ages of 14 and 24. More than half of the victims are white and 70 percent of time, alcohol and drugs are involved.
She also said that choosing a victim has little to do with how the victim looks.
"You can have two women -- one's a 10 and one's not -- he's going to go for the one with lower self-esteem. He's going to go for the one that he can victimize and he hopes she's not going to report it," Archambault said.

The subject here is not about child sexual abuse. It is about a grown woman, being grouped by a drunken "pig" in public. This falls more so under the catogery of "sexual harssment" or "attempted rape", but it is not an actualy rape case of which we are discussing here.
Another thing that has been eating me up about this is. How uncaring you people can be towards one another. You could at least show some sympthy towards this woman. Just so you all know, women don't always go "asking" for it if they're sitting right next to their husbands.
Or is it that it happens so much that all of you have learned how to turn your heads thinking that it will go away if you do so? In that case I laugh at you.
I just read all of your posts. It was striking that they all have the same point-- "Oh yeah? Well America is worse!" This is not always relevant to articles on Japan.
So please give us somthing new (we know the US is worse, and we know you think so) or at least bless us with some brevity.

Batman Beyond
"This falls more so under the category of "sexual harassment" or "attempted rape", but it is not an actually rape case of which we are discussing here."
What? Sexual harassment? No, groping should be considered as a sexual abuse, so this is a case about the sexual abuses. Yes, there are differences in seriousness between groping and rape but it's still sexual abuse and attitude like that is causing more serious sexual crimes to occur. He may start with a sexual harassment or groping but who knows what he is going to do next. Sexual abuse should be treated as a sexual abuse. Last time JT had article about grouping, I have posted stuffs like Japan should treat Grouping as a serious sexual crime instead of some sort of misdemeanor otherwise it will never go away.
"Or is it that it happens so much that all of you have learned how to turn your heads thinking that it will go away if you do so?"
If it happened in front of me I will kick his ass so hard he will never be able to grope again. The attitude you just described are allowing any crimes to go on and this attitude thing happens in everywhere.
Why are people mentioning words like "child sexual abuse" or "rape". Big freaking deal. This old dude rubbed the ladies leg or maybe another guy squeezed a boob. Yes these are crimes. The guy should be arrested. But they are in no way in the same league as rape. The first time the guy shouldn't even have to go to jail. Investigate to determine he did it, put it on his record and make him pay a big fine to the CITY and not the women. This will cut down on young girls scamming money. He grabbed your boob, butt, what ever you don't get 1000 dollars. Your not scared for life, move along. He's going to pay a 1000 but not to you. Third time he does it he goes away for a looooooooooonnnnnng time.
I've had my butt grabbed even my package once in Japan. I was in a bar it was really really crowded. Some little Japanese girl is trying to squeeze by me and boom she cupped it and looked up. Was I scared no, actually I laughed. Maybe I should have called the police and cried that she sexual attacked me and I don't know if I can go on with my life.
Yes I know it's different between a man and a woman. But come on.
I am not justifying groping. If my girlfriend came home and told me some guy gropped her I would go through the roof. But it's still just a misdemeanor. And I wouldn't feel any better beating the crap out of some old dude thats nearly 40 years older than me. (like the guy in this article)

Reading your comments tire me out.
I'm going to bed.
I'm trying to decide if I've ever seen someone post so much, and yet say so little. Do you have a point? Other than your childish anti-Americanism?
JayZ, you and your ilk should get down on your knees and praise the heavens every morning that America exists, because if it didn't, you might have to examine your own life, your own country, and take responsibility for your own actions. It's so easy to blame America for everything wrong in your pathetic little existence,or diverting criticism about your country by shifting the topic, but how about actually examining the topic being discussed?
A police officer has been arrested for groping. This is not such a rare incident in Japan -- police officers and judges alike have been arrested lately for sexual crimes. How about, JayZ, you think about why your country produces such men? Think deep about it. Can you? NOW try and contribute to the discussion.
JazZ, I and every other American who read the JT discussion board will probably sign a statement accepting America's responsiblity for all of Japan's problems, if you would just shut up, for once, and say something constructive. Or thoughtful.

Jay-z I'm sorry you escaped whatever country you from and ran to Japan. I'm sorry every time you manage to find a girlfriend an American steal her away from you. But is that any reason to be so anti-american?
Get off the soapbox will you?
"So? most of my postings were towards those who just posted some bushing towards another nation or nationalities". Saying that groping is wrong is unacceptable to you? Part of life as an adult is standing up and saying that what is wrong is WRONG, Jay-Z. It is not Japan bashing, it is discussing reality, and what might be done about it.I've been groped, I know lots of people that have. so it's not our imagination. It exists as a societal problem ,or at least women see it that way.
Spurs, sounds like the young lady in question was trying to pick you up. At least she had the decency to face you-most gropers snake their hands around or between other people and you don't know who is touching youon a crowded rush hour train. Or just rub up against you. If I were in a bar you might surmise that I was looking for a date,on a train I just want ot get to work like anybody else. With the balance of physical strength n the man's side, I can see you not being scared by a 48 kg girl. Women react differently because 9 times out of 10 we're potentially outmuscled and outweighed by these jerks, and if push came to shove, would be on the losing end.

Spurs:
Im not going to lower myself to your level and start calling you names because..Hmm, let me put to you in a way youll understand-sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me.
Let me comment on your accusations-
" husband who stood their watching his wife get a thorough cavity search"
Where did it said this? WHERE?
Your right. No where in the article did it mention the style or methodology of the alleged groping. But from my experience of watching chikan live in action, most gropings are not a hand on the leg that you seem to think it means but usually a fairly vigorous enterprise that Im not going to describe so you can improve your methodology.
All it said was "witnessed Hoshimura's actions... handed him over... making him get off the train at the station."
Ive watched and stopped (notice the word "stopped") a few chikan acts in my days in Tokyo and guess what Spur, before I stepped in and removed the pervert from the girl, NO ONE WAS DOING A DAMN THING. They just stared at the newspapers, keitais or probably just enjoyed the show. In fact, one night, I got on the train heading home and noticed a drunken salary man had pinned a high school girl in the corner against the door and had both hands up her skirt and no one did a damn thing until I pulled the fool off the girl. And you konw what happened, I was accused mugging the man because Im a foriegnor. Its only at the next station when the girl explained to the station master that I was the who stopped Mr. Pervert in action while they did nothing. So dont give me this bull that there was simple touch and her husband actually did something useful besides calling ahead on his keitei to inform the conductor at the next station that his wife was getting mauled.
"I know the Japanese are a pretty cowardly race"
Read above the above statements. The cowardly Japanese will sit there and do nothing during a public groping. In fact, I was at the video store the other day and wandered into the adult section and noticed videos with subway-schoolgirl-gang-rape themes. Hmmm, maybe theres a reason they like to watch....
"if my wife was being groped in front of me I would act in a more serious manner to prevent the groping besides watching"
Again idiot where does it say this?
Im not writing about the details of the article. I can only go by experience. Given the pacifist ways of the Japanese, why would the husband do anything but wait for the police and let his wife deal with the groper.
Its obvious that you are defending the drunken police man so I can only assume you enjoy a little groping on the train and hate anyone who comments against such activities.
Final comment- Grow up.
The only thing worse than your "I couldn't make any friends in the States so to hell with them" posts, is your annoying pidgeon English.
Go sit at the children's table until you're able to make posts that are at least 20% accurate and/or interesting. Until then, shhh, little one.

Some guy grabbed my fiance's butt once while I was right there. She didn't enjoy it and I know I didn't. I'm an American by the way. So, after I saw this, I felt a need to check to see if my shoulder was still working. Yup, it worked fine. So fine that it knocked the @$$hole out the door at that stop and he never got a chance to get back in. Though I don't think he would want to after I did that. The problem I see with the whole situation is that most women don't defend themselves and just 'let it be'. I taught my fiance a few things she can do if it ever happens again. She said she didn't know she could do that. I let her know that if anyone ever does something to you and you know it is wrong, let them know what you think. C'mon ladies! Don't be afraid to shove a size 7 shoe into someone's crotch if they grab you! Fight them off anf let them know you don't have to put up with that crap!
Peace out
