It takes many year of practice to get tea ceremony right. Boring ~ Patience (you are not a tea drinker and would have difficulty with kimono) = stay away from tea ceremony = it's not your thing.

This is the problem with the indigenous attitude to food and drink. It's all quantity and no quality.

As a tea-bore myself, I quite fancied participating in this one. Sadly, Aichi's just a little bit too far to go from Niigata just for a tea ceremony.
