Wow, didn't think Cheney would take such offense at remarks the oil business- I mean war- I mean liberation- over there in Iraq.
It's about Kyuma walking around with his tail between his legs. Hate him or love him, Dick Cheney is a man's man. The Dude can walk the walk.

Reptiles are generally not bipedals. The cold-blooded VP Cheney slithers in slime.

Perhaps if Abe allowed the Vice President to shoot Mr. Kuma in the face, he would agree?

...might fail the courage test. However he does make a good bully--most of whom also fail the courage test. A man's man does not send other people off to battles that they themselves were unwilling to fight. Dick's walk is licensed by the Ministry of Silly Walks.

"As a mindless minion who enables the Cheneys and Bushes to
ream poor America's nether portal"
Heh, now
that's a post. Almost wish I wrote it. Post of the day mate, thanks for the laugh :)
here, too. How wonderful of you.
Kyuma has expressed a very intelligent position and definitely shows a level of such far surpassing anything that Dickie is capable of.

Speaking as someone who served 20 years in the Military, Cheney-Bush are the biggest pieces of #### with their trumped up war in Iraq, now already planning to make up some more BS as a reason to go into Iran.
Bottom line, if Iraq had no oil, we wouldn't be their. Bush & Cheney need to be tried as war criminals, they certainly don't speak for 51% of the american people.
I don't usually agree with Japanese politians, but Kyuma has 100% of my support!

Abe cannot sack Kyuma. This government is weak. Members of the cabinet are speaking wayward things knowing Abe cannot get rid of them.

LeonTrotsky: Japans economy doesn't need USA!
Seriously did you even think about this before you posted such foolishness? Do you really for one minute think that Japan's economy doesn't HEAVILY depend on the USA? Eveyone loves to hate the U.S. but don't let your hatred stand in the way of common sense. Think about the goods that are exported from Japan into the U.S. who has more buying power as consumers than the United States Of America?
On a separate unrelated note....there will always be U.S. bashers it's fine inferiority complexes are common. A perfect country? Definitely not But think about all of the great things to come out of the U.S. pretty much every great invention has come from the United States of America from the internet to the automobile to the airplane etc. etc. The U.S. has given alot more to the world than war and misery think about it.

Hope this is a wake up call to Japan. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Your future lies in Asia. Come down from your high horse and make friends in Asia while you still can now.

Politics aside, I seriously doubt that Cheney has any quams about speaking with Kyuma. The key statement here is that "the United States has asked Japan not to schedule a meeting between U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney and Japanese Defense Minister Fumio Kyuma." When "the United States" decides most anything, you can bet there are a whole lot of talking heads involved. The press loves to put this stuff out there, since Cheney and Bush are popular and obvious targets. The true reasoning could be anyone's guess. Perhaps something has happened during the talks regarding North Korea that simply makes the pairing of these two an unfavorable situation
at this time. Perhaps those responsible for the perceived political correctness of the United States do not trust Mr. Cheney will not simply tell Mr. Kyuma why he thinks
he is wrong. Perhaps the topics to be discussed (Anyone who thinks these things aren't thoroughly planned in advance are fooling themselves.) couldn't be decided upon.
That said, I understand U.S. bashing, and even Bush bashing to an extent. However, I feel that Cheney bashing based on this instance alone is unfounded.
lets bash cheney for the 16 fold increase in his Haliburton options
