And now that he's out of a job, I hope he thinks it was worth it.

I'm sure this happens all the time, sounds like a load of BS to me to get back at this pilot or something.

I wonder if you'd have the same reaction if this was Virgin or...

definately not if she was Virgin. Because it wouldn't have happened if she was!

I can only imagine she was touching the controls. Probably sitting on the control stick, no doubt.

This is going to make the Leno monologue. Well, it would if it was United....

Oh no, I think there are more bad puns on the way. Help me!

We must congratulate them for having at least put the engines on the correct wings this time.

At least the Japanese don't let civilians drive nuclear submarines like Americans do. An Australian view.

The pilot knew there was absolutely no risk involved in having this girl sit at the controls while the craft was on auto pilot. But JAL has been under a lot of scrutiny in recent years, so they could not let this incident pass. Let these young (!) people be scapegoats. My god, what a fuss.

Gosh, I guess they would have strung him up and hung him if he reported to work drunk like some Northwest pilots.

I would think that it's all men at some point in their lives. The pilot really didn't cause any harm except for a few bad puns. I really don't think the aircraft was in any danger. That said, he did violate the rules.

Which I think all men do when it comes to trying to impress women.

OK, I'm going to listen to "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" a few times now.

Hey, at least the JAL guy didn't try a belly landing...
