Your average everyday Iranian hates Amadjihad and his freedom hating government. Iran needs some regime change and the civilian population will welcome America with open arms and pray at night that America will come and save them from the nightmare that has enslaved them.

America needs to make an official agency to deal with countries nuke power plants, we could install and run it for them for a minimal fee, with competent Americans at the switch. It's a solution that everyone can except and a easy way to resolve this and future nuke problems.

whatsgood - in your dreams...

Who do you think America is, after all? Why would the world trust a country run by a schizophrenic president and not a country run by an authoritarian dictator? you're not the world's police, Team America anymore but want to become the world's baby sitter as well?

"Your average everyday Iranian hates Amadjihad and his freedom hating government"

And that is why they voted for him in democratic elections. They hated him so much they decided to make him their leader.

"Iran needs some regime change and the civilian population will welcome America with open arms and pray at night that America will come and save them from the nightmare that has enslaved them"

Just like they did in Iraq.

Whilst european countries have staged a campout outside the house of Irans leader, waiting to get first dibs on the contracts.
Wouldn't it be funny if france gets it, only to have the nasty waste stuff returned to them by some Algerians.

He said some European companies have expressed willingness to take part in the tenders.

Not a surprise.

It's far better that some European or maybe Canadian (CANDU - anyone ?) company builds the power plant for them than them trying it all by themselves. At least it ensures safety of operation and passes the ball in their court. Of course, in case any military nuclear activity is noticed support can be retracted anytime and a REAL reason for bashing and attacking Iran has been found.

Whatsgood, you must be pulling everyone's leg here. We've been through this before, but you must be even a slower learner than George if you're serious.

Business, I think rverbeke is just trying to show everyone how unbelievably ridiculous whatsgood's comment is by that parody in his/her comment. However, it is true that the "statistical average" American does not like/approve of Bush.

The US has...

103 nuclear reactors. And we're going to continue to cry that because the Iranians want two more. <:-)

They want two more, but don't have enough cash, it's why they tendered the offer.
I'm sure you would fork over a little of your savings for this investment and give the Iranians some hard earned capitol you sweated to earn for this wise long term investment.
My self, I think i'll pass on this one and stick with that Nigerian E-mail deal I have going on.

No, it's not a matter of cash but expertise. For those who are considering bidding on this, the important bottom line question for them to ask is "assess how the contract would affect your ability to take on (or win) other new projects?"

While most of us have been warned about Nigerian "419"s this looks only a little less risky financially given Iran's current status.

I'd rather loan them a little of my cash, then to give my cash to Iraq and killing more Iraqis every day. You are correct. <:-)
