sales figures reported here are number of vehicles.
this does not mean they make more as they would have sold more units of cars with lower profit margins per vehicle.
pretty simple math.
look at where the credit trades, that tells you the real story.

Your statement though holds true - but under normal trading. My thesis is based in non-normal, as in illicit reporting - something I've been exposed to... Hope you're correct and I'm wrong.
