I'm glad this scum got what he deserved but it seems the Japanese judges or the media are laying it on thick now to stear away from the Lucie Blackman case.

Most Japanese know absolutely nothing about Lucie Blackman. And no one in the foreign media know anything about Hidenori Ogata. I can't believe that a case that has been working its way through the legal system for 3 years has been decided on the basis of Joji Obara's acquital.
