customers with that kind of marketing strategy. I guess they will have to re-think and end up copying Softbank by intergrating the cost into the monthly plans... but but isn't that what they do today without telling us???

Does this mean we should all go out and get a new phone before prices go up in November?

Docomo is such a ripoff, seems upfair you have to buy a new phone to get the new plan.

I don't talk on my mobile phone much (I'm a young person, by the way), and I mostly use email. I occassionally call some people, but not enough to make me bothered will calling fees.
I'm not paying that much for a mobile phone itself even if the calling fees are 30% lower.

Most youth in this country usually spend more time emailing people than calling people, anyway.

Even with the 20000 yen or so handsets, they charge you more if you want to keep your phone number, which I think is ridiculous in the first place.
