TOKYO Sales of new imported vehicles in Japan in October rose 12.9% from a year before to 19,097 units, the Japan Automobile Importers Association said Tuesday.
Volkswagen was the top imported vehicle brand, with a share of 19.97%. BMW, which gained 0.2% to 2,993 units for a 15.67%share, ranked second. Mercedes-Benz came third with a 14.60% share.
