The world's fastest growing airline gives a firm vote of confidence to Airbus. The A380 is gaining sales momentum. Such competition can only be good for Boeing, as well

making billions from orders from emirates and other gulf region airlines.Gulf countries going big in air transport business and high tower real estate business.
Next they need to go big in aircraft making business with more stakes in global aircraft makers shares.

OTOH when was the last time you walked or cycled back to your country instead of taking the plane? :) Didi you knew that GreanPeach uses DIESEL (oh, the humanity) engines for their pirate ships? and kerosene for their terror helicopters?

Wonder what the 'fuel charge' for flying on a A380 would be. Bet ya get an additional 5man put on your ticket for that one.

The fuel charge...

...will go up inevitably in the next few years, as we reach Hubberts peak and oil price explores new heights in the triple digits.
However, the A380 surcharge should be less than on other planes, since the thing consumes less fuel per passenger than all the others.
I am more worried about the airport lines this monster creates, as well as the attraction it has on holy jihad "martyrs".

nice :)
I prefer Airbus over Boeing any day. The planes are so much nicer and more comfortable. Last weeks 11h trip in the KLM Boeing was bad as always

You must be talking about Business or First Class.
Airbus economy class is just as cramped as Boeing economy class.

Regardless of whether it's Boeing or Airbus supplying them, new planes are a good idea because they are more fuel efficient and thus have less impact on the environment. Overall capacity increases are NOT good news, though
