Victimless, harmless crime. Leave these guys alone. I can't wait to go back and visit friends in America, the weed there is so cheap and easy to find.
Agreed. And its less harmful than alcohol, all things considered. Smells better than a drunk too.
Simply amazing how hemp was once a basic crop and is now anathema. How easily people forget...

This news was first posted like a month ago. I am sure they detained them for 20 days, without seeing their families and being questioned every hour the same questions. Then, one man who spends half his salary in whores surely told them how they atittude was contrary to good behavior.
In the building I live I smell pot every Saturday night. I suspect of two over 60 oba-chans. I just love the idea of two harmless veterans defying "the system".

Why? This law helps keep the smelly hippies away.

in a third rate university, told by the law to behave. Is there no refuge in Japan for the laid back?

It's no laughing matter. This is a highly addictive and deadly narcotic.

For some people, maybe. My friends and I enjoyed smoking weed in college and didn't become addicted.

as long as its illegal, don't be stupid with it.
Personally I'm not one for legalising pot. Never smoked it never want to. Just as funky as second hand smoke from a cig IMO, does the same thing too(cancer, black lung, bronchy), just makes your brain feel good while you do it.
I don't need drugs or anything else that alters my mind set. And I feel sorry for those that feel the need that they do.

One of I know found that 90% of rapes are perpetrated under the influence of alcohol.
