Dog barks in street. Man catches bus. Atmospheric pressure drops then rises again. Scintillating stuff.

I love it. I hope there will be a lot more. I only wish today was a holiday so I could play outside.

Same here, just west of Shinjuku. Was surprised to see it when I woke up.

I hate it. I hope there won't be any more. This makes it impossible to get a suntan at the beach!

Left for a trip to the USA some years ago. December. Caught the Shinkansen in Hachinohe and breezed right through heavy snow almost all the way. Got to Tokyo Station for the connection to Narita and all the trains are delayed. There was only a centimeter or two on the ground. You could still see the dead grass.
What gives when a major city is almost completely shut down by a little snow?

Yes, Im curious too. Admittedly I live in Osaka but when I watched one of the breakfast programs it just looked like sleet/rain. Did any snow accumulate on the ground.
In my experience though, in areas that rarely get snow in Japan, it doesnt take much to affect public transport.
