Bento boxes sold at convenience stores are important items for everyone in Japan. But many people think bentos are not healthy food. Well, Lawson convenience store chain has released a new bento box developed in cooperation with students at Kagawa Education Institute of Nutrition.
The new bento box uses lots of beans and vegetables based on the health ministry's food balance guideline. The new product is available at Natural Lawson stores.
