| The truth about Nanking . . . | |

. . .is tied in with the truth about Japan`s role in World War II. The reason Japan is a major economic power in the world today is because it rampaged and pillage throughout Asia, and stole all the treasures it could get in those countries, sending them back to Japan. Much of "Yamashita`s Gold" - the name given to the plunder of Asia - is still stored in massive vaults below the Imperial Palace in Marunouchi. Those who would try to hide the truth about Nanking and other wartime atrocities, like this man Mizushima and his friend and sponsor Ishihara, the Governor of the largest city in the world, are just trying to cover up the truth with complete lies. They are under a strong delusion if they think that the Free World at large will be taken in by their poison. This movie will be a subject of laughter.

The reason Japan is a major economic power today is perhaps partly because a number of women high and low alike came down to be pan-pan girls as Mary Magdalene in the post-surrender days of Japan. But nobody complained nor had any grudge with anyone.

What an insult to compare evil war criminals to my living Lord and Saviour.
They have already met Him, and given account for the evil they did while they were alive.
I asked if your living Lord also met Roosevelt or Churchill.
How could they judge Japan for crime against peace and group conspiracy (quick-fix crimes introduced at London Agreement in August 1945 after POTSDAM) while they themselves (England, France and the Netherlands) were also starting to re-invade Asia not to mention their previous invasion and colonization of the world before WW2 and war crimes occurred not exclusively on the side of Japan?
Let me add to the analogy. Yonai Mitsumasa seemed to be the real Judas. Why didn't the Allies prosecute him if they put to death Hirota and Matsui?
didn't your lord and savior die for sinners like Tojo and his cohorts?

Politicians are allowed to make such preposterous statements in Japan without any fear of the consequences. Its not that the Japanese dont care about politics, it because they secretly agree.
Or they just don't care about Christianity or its mascot.
Personally, I see nothing wrong with the analogy.
But then I wouldn't care if he compared them to Allah, Buddha, or Harry Potter either.

Tojo had the same kind of glasses as Harry Potter.
Yes of course he did.
And by the way - I happen to believe that Tojo was only a scapegoat for the other big REAL war criminal - if you get my meaning. In that sense, you maybe could say that he was a bit like the Lord, in taking the punishment that someone else deserved.

Everyone who ever died has had to face his/her Creator, Jesus Christ, after death. therefore, He has also met Churchill, and all the former japanese war criminals, at least one of whom is a resident of Heaven, since he repented of his misdeeds and accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour and Lord before he was executed.
With regard to your parallel between Japan and "England" (actually, the United Kingdom) and their former colonies, there is one great difference, which speaks volumes.
In the case of the former British colonies, most are now members of a family of friendly nations called the British Commonwealth, and retain very close links with the UK. This reflects the fact that these countries were generally treated well by the British and were also granted their independence in a gentlemanly way. Alas, the same cannot be said of Japan and its exploits througout Asia, because it brutalized its way through those countries and plundered their riches, bring the treasures back to Japan. While friendly relations now exist between Japan and some of these nations, because of the historical facts that guys like this Movie Director are trying to hide, there could never ever be a similar commonwealth of former Japanese colonies. Sad, but true.

I tend to agree somewhat with your take on Tojo but I wouldn't go around saying that too loud. The black van crowd can be scary. The ones who swung and the ones that got away like Ishii don't really line up for me.

Jesus did not arrange killing competitions, massacre civilians with machine-guns, torture people to death, throw babies to air to bayonet them, rape&murder hundreds of thousands etc.
Japan committed horrendous war-crimes and waged total war. Life was meaningless, also their own lives were. That is why enemies were killed and tortured in masses without remorse.

From your tone of speech, it seems somewhat gauche of me to dare deny that everyone after death has to face Jesus Christ. Though Tojo was a believer of Jodoshin sect Buddhism founded by Shinran who said, "Even a good man breathes his last and goes to the Buddhist paradise, still more an evil man," (meaning religious faith is to resign yourself wholly to Amitabha), Tojo might have probably repeated in front of Christ what he said as his affidavit at the Tokyo Trial. He felt responsibility for causing and losing war, but he didn't feel it wrong for Japan to be engaged in the war. He concluded it was inevitable. That's why he cried out loud alone on the evening of the day when Japan decided to go to war with the U.S. in spite of the will of the emperor who wished to evade it and had ordered him to explore every possible avenue to negotiate with the U.S. for that end. Was he in hell or purgatory now?

I am not sure if Britain has no problem with Ireland. But basically Britain's colonies were not her neighbors.
Japan's colonial rule was over her neighbors and was if anything investment rather than exploitation to make those areas modernized and productive. Please ask Taiwanese or Koreans who know the Japanese colonial/annexation days. They may like Japan at heart. At least Japan did not sell weapons to get slaves to trade for cotton and sugar to be put back on the European market or sell opium to reduce trade deficits even during the wartime, though Japan was not immaculate. But the exploited wealth was probably incomparable at any rate.
The reason why Japan set up Manchukuo was partly because British Commonwealth got more friendly among themselves by being protected by tariff wall excluding other have-nots like Japan.
you didn't answer my question. didn't your lord and saviour die for people like Tojo? sinners?

that he would try to sell this BS line to the "religious faithful". After all, they will (by definition) believe anything.
