how does AU work on the Iphone, as far as I understand Iphone(gsm) hardware does not support AU's carrier signals(cdma). I am a faithful user of AU for nearly 10 years now.

The iPhone 3G doesn't use outdated GSM. It uses cdma, hence AU can support.
