I think everyone is forgetting something here. And that is the Non Proliferation Treaty. Countries who are vulnerable and do not have nuclear arms agree not to create them. Iran and North Korea are both members. Israel is not. If you are a member you promise not to make nuclear weapons. Iran weren't forced into the treaty, but seem to be breaking their promise.

Now this isn't like America saying that you can't have nukes. Nothing like it. Don't forget that.

Ishihara is the biggest proponent of the Olympics in Tokyo. Not sure why but I would guess it's a lot to do with his oversized ego. Fully 60% of Japanese polled don't support the 2016 Olympics in Tokyo, so that must certainly hurt it's bid.

After reading about all these stories, I have wondered if there have been cases where women were accused of groping men, Does anyone knows about reported cases like this? And in such case, is the sentence the same

Um, I think this is a bit more serious than a grope. It is rape. And yes, women grope men, however I have never heard it being reported.

I don't understand how 18 years old is an underage crime? Where I come from as soo as you are 16 you are liable.

It's fine. I would say that they both get something that they wouldn't get with same age relationships, which is the reason for entering into it. It's not just one way. People wouldn't enter into such relationships if it wasn't.

Fix the justice system. For example, all interrogations to be video taped. And you can only hold someone for 24 hours before arrest.

So what social and public health problems are you referring to? Please expand. What is wrong with feedeing feral animals?

Ha ha. Spoilsport. I've done 5 jumps (highest 134 meters) and had no problems. The setup has to be pretty dodgy for any of these problems to occur.

Sorry correction: The drugs themselves would be safer. At the moment a drug taker doesn't know what he is buying. The dealer could throw anything into the mix. This would be regulated if they were legalised.

Can you tell me five reasons how legalizing drugs will benefit a society?

I wonder how you determined 'five'. But OK, here's five:

    1. It will massively reduce organized crime and destroy the current drug cartels.
    2. It will enable addicts more incentive for seeking help. And more chance of kicking the habit.
    3. It will increase tax revenue.
    4. Education about the risks and true facts about drugs will be out in the open. The current 'Drugs are bad, mmmkay' approach doesn't leave itself to open and frank discussion about the real risks.
    5. The drugs themselves would be safer. At the moment a drug taker doesn't know what he is buying. The dealer could through anything into the mix. This would be regulated if they were legalised.

Have to agree with cow76 and Wakarimasen. Legalizing drugs is the best way to stop all this nonsense.

I'm sorry, but Japanese phones don't come close to offering the functionality of the iPhone. Show me a Japanese phone that has GPS activated Google Maps with directions (including train times etc.) and street view. Or a remote to wirelessly control your iTunes. Or a web browser that can display 90% of the web pages out there. This goes on.

You use your iPhone as a phone? I use almost every other feature except the phone!

I must admit I think that it is the most useful phone I have ever had. My favorite feature is the maps. Type in an address that I don't know and track myself to get there. Then I go to street view to recognize what I'm looking for. The camera (on the 3G) sucks, but I have managed to get some good pics. Also, there are a lot of great apps out there.

Being vulnerable is a weakness (almost by definition), being sensitive isn't. There's definitely no problem having female friends without sex. That's normal. But giving up the chase because you lack confidence? Well you're only kidding yourself.

Posted in: Some guys still try to be manly and try to be like strong and stuff, but you know personally I'm not afraid to show my vulnerability because being vulnerable or being sensitive is not a weakness.

    Yeah, I hate this.

New swine flu is around. What are we going to do? Wear masks and sterilize with ethanol. Will it make a difference? No. Well we have to do something, so let's do it anyway.

    Like a Shinto ritual.

As for iPods, iPhones and the like, you can bet that they will continue to be developed to be as energy efficient as technologically possible. It isn't about being green, it's about battery life which consumers find very important.

On first date? That would imply it's a date and that you want to see about establishing a relationship. Then I would advise no. But after a casual encounter in a bar? No problem if you are both willing and use protection. If things work out after that, then good, but if not, it doesn't matter.

A kiss is not a contract, but it's very nice. It's very very nice. Just because you've been playing tonsil hockey doesn't been you can get into my Jockeys. Just because you've been exploring my mouth doesn't mean you can take an excursion further south.

I don't like the way that cellphone use is discouraged on the train. I find that a little rude. Ban cellphone use in the cinema but on the train? Get over it.
