I'd like to know what his plan was after he sneaked into the house. It's not as if he would have been a fly on the wall. She would have noticed him there. What was his plan then???

    That's just the glow, 2020.

Nuclear subs, I agree are a different matter. Not as safe as nuclear powered ships. However, they are all green compared to alternative energy sources.

Bio-fuels aren't 'green'. In fact they are a pretty bad idea altogether when you think of feeding the world. Nuclear powered ships are both safe and green.

Can he win with just over 50% vote. In most countries constituional change require 2/3 majority.

And it's a farce; he had the referendum last year and lost!

Chavez has genuinely helped millions of poor people so he's alright with me.

Not sure about that. I agree ha has the support of the poor. But this isn't an election; it is a 'convenient' and dangerous change to the constitution.

Absolute power corrupts... Look at Mugabe!

I like Eric from the Cream/Derek/Blind Faith days. I wonder if he will play that era (or earlier with Beck). Could be worth going.

the subject is nuclear warships, not nuclear power plants. please stay on target, jedi knights

Really, it is about nuclear reactors, so most people are on target. Goto isn't worried about nuclear warships for any other reason than they have nuclear reactors in them.

So the charge of hypocrisy is valid, I would say. And in any case Japan is unable to stop US nuclear ships coming to Japan. New Zealand did and the US threw them out of the ANZUS alliance. NZ had a 'moral' leg to stand on however: they have also rejected nuclear power plants.

jmarc, can you quote any sources with the 6 month buying fuel thing. What if I said that it is every quarter, could you prove me wrong?

The whole thing was a sham in the first place. I mean, if I had a choice I'd just go for the no-frills basic ticket without the 'extra service' surcharge. But, the catch is, it isn't an optional component. You need fuel to fly the plane. These days I think the airlines hedged too much on fuel rising thru the roof... And people were blaming this on speculative traders. Gee.

BTW When you get a blood transfusion, simple A, B, AB, or O isn't nearly enough information to know if your body will reject it. So you will always be tested first.

I don't believe in your personality determined by blood type, but then a lot of A type friends exhibit the characteristics. Probably co-incidence.

Like I say I dont have first hand knowlage of her life but I have a few vids of how she lived it.

So you don't approve of her being an AV star, but have no regrets about owning some AV videos? Talk about hypocrisy!

"The bt corn study"? There have been several, with roughly as many different conclusions as studies.

I would agree. The earlier studies suggested harm to monarch butterflies, but later, more extensive studies showed this isn't the case.

The links you have provided for the honeybee seem either dated, anectdotal and/or biased. A report that starts off with: "Genetically modified seeds are produced and distributed by powerful biotech conglomerates. The latter manipulate government agricultural policy with a view to supporting their agenda of dominance in the agricultural industry." is hardly likely to have a balanced view.

cleo How can terminator technology be a genie (i.e. get out of control)? The plants can't reproduce and hence the GMO dies out.

The bt corn study had the opposite conclusion about the effect on monarch populations (i.e., no real effect):

    http://biotech.cas.psu.edu/articles/btcornmonarch.htm

But in general GMO technology can vastly reduce the amount of insecticides and pesticides that you have to use on plants. Good news for everyone.

Sure crosspollintation can occur and care should be taken. One such measure would be to intoduce terminator technology. But the genie can be kept in the bottle.

Read the article. GMO technology is being developed by many groups and countries. GMO does not equal Monsanto. GMO is the next big revolution in agriculture that will make it more efficient and feed the poor.

About time! GMO's will help the 3rd world achieve lower food prices by improving yields etc. I find it immoral to oppose GMO's when so many in the world go hungry.

200 grams per bowl? You have to be kidding. The news article suggests that each bowl is a mouthful.
