An oxymoronic statement. Can it last? No. The fundamentals are not there. The market psychology is not there and the jobs lost this time around are systemic losses. Government induced stimulus measures do not a recovery make.
Market psychology does not take its direction from "most economists" who are not looking at the damage done to credit markets and credit scores that will take years to repair. With no business expansion, there will be no jobs. with no jobs, no recovery. Bank failures and vertical free fall to the market can return with a vengeance at any time as it did after the 1929 crash. Cancer in the housing market and banking is not going away anytime soon. In some places there is a 10 year inventory of unsold homes. Generating a REAL money supply mop to soak up this mess will take as many years as it took to create the bubble, maybe more. Relatively cheap oil will help for a while, but the short leash of peak oil will snap growth back south as prices climb.

The over zealous security at airports after 911.."please step over here miss while we scan through your clothes..." and forcing little kids and granny's to be detained and searched is all very humiliating to Americans as well. Some have chosen not to fly as a result. With a porous southern border, terrorists don't need to fly to get in the US, they can just walk or drive across, which points up the absurdity of post 911 airport security.

It all comes down to totalitarian Big Brother control over our lives. Americans are simply saying, "NObama!"
Congress signs spending bills with regularity into law for saving a snails or building a multi million $ library that no one needs without even reading the bills. Then they all go out for lunch and martinis and hold a press conference about how good this spending will be for America, jobs and the economy, which is pure BS.
Have any of them read Obamacare from beginning to end? No, of course not. Lucky enough for Americans, this small fact wont prevent them from shoving it down our throat.
Should we protest this, we are demonized by the Speaker of the House and in the press as un-American for exercising our right of free speech! Such fundamental freedom is what separates liberty from tyranny. Based on this alone, we have much to fear from these socializing fascists whose goal it is to destroy America and our Constitution.
