With more and more consumers defaulting into credit card bankruptcy hell, massive amount of ARMs getting ready to reset on stressed home owners in the next 12 months and commercial real estate about ready to implode, how many banks will fail this Fall as "green shoots" turn into brow stubble and Wally Street goes in the crapper?

Even in a best case scenario with 600,000 jobs created out of thin air, like so many bogus federal reserve notes, what lender will extend credit to these Obama jobsters to perpetuate the myth of the consumer economy?

Obama shot back at skeptics during the Cabinet meeting. “Now, I know that there’s some who, despite all evidence to the contrary, still don’t believe in the necessity and promise of this recovery act.”

What about all the contrary evidence "to the contrary"?

Still don't believe? In what? ...Santa?

Necessity and promise of what? ...Christmas?

Obama 4 years from now campaigning somewhere in middle America:

"I have a dream!!! That one day, Government deficits in the 10's of trillion$ that can never be paid back in our children's lifetimes will destroy whats left of the American economy! I have a dream!"

the White House underestimated the scope of the recession

Just drop freshly printed Fed notes from military cargo plains above fly over country and be done with all the silly stimulus double talk.

What do I think? I'm taking off my shoes.

Why is there a section of Americans who despise everything about Islam? I doubt they know very much about Islam at all

Why? Because we know enough about Islam. What we see we don't like.

Why would we want to know anymore about a culture and religion that danced in the street on 9-11 firing AK47's in the air yelling "GOD IS GREAT!!!" ?

billions of people around the world are coming together (even if only a little) and recognizing some fundamental humanitarian rights and needs in our advanced society.

The words of "O-blah blah bama" inspired ignorance.

The virulent Islamists don't live "in our advanced society" and they sure as hell aren't "coming together" to recognize "fundamental humanitarian rights" nausicaa. Dream on.

So, Obama's going to wage jihad on behalf of the Muslims over cartoons?

Yes. Of course. Its his "responsibility" to be intolerant of those who believe in something as offensive as freedom.

Obama said it was part of his responsibilities as president “to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear."

This is indeed sickening. Will BO also fight against negative stereotypes of Christians, Hindus, Jews and Buddhists wherever they appear? Is the next stop the Vatican? I think not.

If a particular religion tolerates suicide bombers, holy war and the beheading of "infidels" in the name of their god, why the hell should it be the responsibility of a sitting US president to be a self appointed apologist for said religion? Lest anyone's eyes should be glazed over by presidential froth and blather, negative stereotypes of Islam exist because of these very negative attributes of Islam.

If a group of Christian terrorists flew two airliners into oil refineries and sky scrapers in Saudi Arabia, would the prince of Opec come groveling to the US Bible belt to find out what it is Christians don't like about Muslims?

Why reach out to a particular religion? Is Obama a missionary? Is he the Pope of good vibrations because he heard a few Muslim prayers as a kid? If certain sects of Hindus became pissed enough at America, would Obama be giving an apologetic speech in India for our continued support of Islamic Pakistan?

Is it a case of the squeaky wheel gets the oil, or the squeaky wheel has the oil?

"Violent extremism across the globe" does not take its cue from Obama or the moderate Muslims who are silenced in fear. Let he who is without sin cast the first shoe at the jihadists.

“The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; the second is war. Both bring a temporary prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunists.” Ernest Hemingway, “Notes on the Next War: A Serious Topical Letter”, 1935.

If a prelude to a naval blockade is just a prelude to bombs falling, illusions of peace are as delusional as they were for Nevel Chamberlin.

Look! Up in the sky! Its A bird! Its A Plane! No, Its another Kim dong missile making a direct hit somewhere in the Pacific ocean!

War is no threat. In fact, its good for the economy. Just what we need: government growth and stimulation. So let the good times and the tanks roll! What better time to have a war when so many are fearful and jobled? So go ahead and pull the trigger Kim and make Japan's day!

If Kim's bluster results in war, NK will be obliterated and have to be rebuilt. The banks will all prosper again. NK will then reunite with SK and build their economy into an economic superpower at some point. (Even cheaper drywall board for the next housing boom that will glow in the dark! ) This new Korean economic powerhouse will use up more of the earth's finite resources and Americans will have to pay more to fill up their gas guzzling dinosaurs. I waaaaant my, I waaaaant my SUVeeeee.

(But when I can't pay for it anymore, I'll be forced to buy a fuel efficient Japanese car) Either way its a win-win for over-extended global consumerism and state-of-the-mart obsolete export driven bankrupt G-"something or other"(attach a digit of your choice here)economies!

Oh, looky Martha! They just fired off two this time!
