The Nikkei should be under 2,000 by real value. It is still way overinflated, and we shorters are still making mad cash.
The government can do nothing aside from pass a law that says you may not sell a share for less than you bought it. This is a free market, and it is still nearly 60 times overvalued. We will continue to short out profits despite laws against it (brokers need money).

America needs to bring our boys home and protect America. Sending troops overseas violates the most conservative of all lines of thought - the Monroe Doctrine. We need to be at home, protecting our own, while the rest of the world learns how to grow up and be the adults that America has been for 300 years now.
True conservatives know that overseas wars are pointless. If there is something to be gained, we can hire other nations to do the work. They need the money. The US already has it all. It is a state called perfection. None may touch it.

It doesn't matter. America is shielded due to the fact that borrower nations are in their debt. What are they going to do, sell treasuries en masse? Watch their exports get blocked and their populaces starve, until a new "economic friendly" government comes in.
