A disgrace that for no valid reason the recovery is hindered because of political pandering’s to the local mum and people that are not intelligent enough to know better. Let be clear there is ZERO reason to not accept materials from tohoku that do not pose any threat as has been the case already.

"The report... assuming they did one around Chernobyl, should reflect the same findings as that of the Russians."
Which maybe some of the posters here should read the many international studies around Chernobyl by people tat know what they are talking about and realise what the biggest problems are...looks like they could include themselves in that.
I'm sure like Chernobyl, the tests will go on for years as an interesting study for the scientists. But the health care providers/government better start to concentrate on the mental health care/stress/depression and support more if they want to learn something from Chernobyl and stop further deaths.

The biggest killer and health issues so far and in the future post the disaster will be as a result of stress. Even stress from fear of radiation which actually isn’t any real risk. Therefore keep up the entertainment if it works as part of the picture of support to that.

"With the internet, who needs TV?" evidently the internet needs it!
and that is the major recent developments/achievements in the tv world this year.
"internet services" on the TV are the way forward and especially useful for internationally minded people although the service doesn't deliver yet.

For those unaware, maybe a look at the film "Inside Job" would be a bad call. It casts enough doubt and present arguments not covered in the day to day news on the ratings agencies and so on, in layman's terms for those that will mostly be oblivious to what goes on and possibly trust their governments and regulatory bodies without really questioning what goes on.
