At last a camera with built in gps, don't have to buy those separate gps devices anymore and spend any time syncing gps data to photo exif data... or doing it manually in google earth. Will make it easier to use the functionality in the like of zooomr or flickr or picasa photo sharing websites.

a poor poll. what has this got to do with japan or even films from japan? this is getting too much like the civilian equivent of us forces radio for the homesick (us) people staying overseas in japan.

“Regardless of a difference of opinion, it is unacceptable that those who are involved get injured" ..agree.
The world aint ever going to agree on a lot of things. period. arrest them!
As long as Japan keeps fishing whatever in a sustainable way (and as humane as poss) then, no problem, this disagreement in tastes can contiune and continue. I'm pretty sure the sources of these 3 peoples diets could esaily be critised if someone tried ( most people are pretty ignorant how their food gets to them). but attacking them.. not really a solution to anything.

I've seen alot of dodgy questionable refereeing at the china Olympics and that's just in the judo or football if sticking to a Japan related tone.
I don't think this guy is too worried about being "stripped" of the bronze, as he already said he didn't care for it when he threw the medal away and had to be force to stand on the podium in the first place. I think he thinks there more important competitions to win or at east some which come with more weight and are not so fake. ... but isn't that the moto the Chinese olympics... fake... its ok.

Americans ( if they dont know it) are famous for talking loudly in public ( whether on a phone or not) thats why not always appreciated as tourists. ... would be horrible I think, especially if from Japan when you are used to a respect culture of not using phones on trains etc.
Maybe they could be phoneing home complaining about the rubbish service on the plane and late flight again.

most non Japanese sushi bars are rubbish in terms of quality ( and are just cashing in on the trend) and the customers are not particularly demanding or knowledgeable about the poor quality they are served... hence just give them something else that is not endangered.. they probably wouldn't be any the wiser anyway. keep the nice stuff for the markets that appreciate it.

"The Chinese leadership consider the Beijing Olympics a matter of national prestige, and efforts to clean up the environment were part of its meticulous preparations for an event it hopes will dazzle the world."
"dazzle"
mmmm similar "to blind someone"
I guess they are hoping that onlookers wont really see what is going on. the money will keep coming regardless of what.
therefore hide all the bad things.
dirty business.

I would say London is more expensive than Tokyo.. depends how you live I guess or narrow your criteria (as with this type of survey which often get misquoted out of context).. maybe not doing as the romans do in tokyo is going to push up your costs compared to a normal person. I've never know a Japanese person go to the uk and think wow how cheep it is there! usually its shock at how expensive it is and what you get (servoce goods quality housing hotels) isnt worth what you paid.

"give them a tent to sleep in!" was the best response i got from a japanese friend.
i'm suprised that the hotel owners foot the bill of providing beds in this situation. too kind. maybe the goverment has a fund to help with that.
If these people are so busy and important and rude... then why don't they get better organized travel coordinators.

ba such poor service... especially as Japanese expectations are higher generally than British not that British will realize that they are or that there employees are being rude). BA can only get market share if they go for the end of market that is prepared to sacrifice service.

more interested in how do we deal with problem staff with an attitude. too many staff I have seen over use the problem passenger issue or safety as an excuse to be rude and provide poor service.
