What I wanna know is, where are all the locksteppers that said just a few months ago that the economy was great, that under Bush we've grown, just totally ignoring the signs of what was to come? When times seemed good Bush and his tax cuts got all the credit. Now that we're in trouble, it's all Clinton's fault. Which is it? You can't have both. They expect people to believe that they didn't see the trouble coming, yet somehow they know for sure Clinton was at fault? This head in sand mentality is dangerous and McCain is hoping to capitalize on that.

Nigelboy- totally agree. Does anyone else find the words "sexual relationship" in the headline instead of "rape" strange? I mean that WOULD be the charge wouldn't it?

Taniwha-Democrats are evil because they didn't stand up to Evil Bush. Republicans are great because they sided with Evil Bush... What are you saying? You state that the Dems sided with Bush on the war and other issues and therefore suck, then in the same breath praise the Repubs for what, consistency? Or are you being cynical when you say McCain will win? BTW, when they agreed with him on the war they were all but forced to lest they be branded weak, unfit to lead, unpatriotic, among other things. Could YOU possibly have opposed the war knowing that the opposition would use the hysteria of the attacks to brand you a traitor in the eyes of your constituency? Look how that worked out for Dean.

Carash; I have to say I'm impressed. It takes a considerable amount of patience to argue your point intelligently with logic. That's more than most posters here do. Seems like there are a lot of knee-jerk reactions here. I for one think that Ayana is sexy. I applaud her raising awareness and hopefully acceptance of transsexual/transgender people. We shouldn't discriminate. Period. Though I know that's a hard concept for humans to accept. Historically people have always feared and despised that which they do not understand. Different races, cultures, lifestyles, sexualities, etc. It's called Xenophobia, and as adults in this globalized world, we should be able to see past it. Unfortunately some of us hide behind our books that we barely understand sniping at those who challenge our world veiw. "It isn't what you don't know that gets you in trouble... It's what you know that isn't so."

A bigot sure would! In the same vein as racists saying "I have black friends." Remember slave owners used to have black "employees" that were even allowed in the Master's house and spoke for the master to the other slaves. I see no difference.

I hate this bill. I disagree with Bush on all of his policies. I am an American and I love my country with all my heart. So here's an opinion from a US lover.

What about those of us who weren't able to make it to Iwo Jima that day(the sand was collected), whose family members fought in that battle? Are we not allowed to buy a memento from a museum because someone is offended? My family has a long history of military service, and I for one would like such a memento as a reminder of their sacrifice. The $25 fee the museum charges is to cover the cost of the certificate, the container, and to give a little to the museum so they can stay open and continue to open people's eyes to history. The people who sell the stuff on ebay or what have you, at $100 (a hefty profit), are awful and should be ashamed. Good on the Marines for giving the Americans they serve a peice of tangible history.

Did everyone forget what segregation was? It was a political agenda to keep the races apart. An agenda inarguably supported by the KKK. Segregation systematically denied otherwise qualified non-whites jobs, loans, sufficient public services, educational opportunities, and other things. Imagine needing medical help and being told that "this hospital only serves whites." Such was the reality of segregation. Have it your way, call segregation and supremacy different things. Just don't forget what either means.

Bush knew that the war in Iraq would raise gas prices. What war doesn't? Those tanks have to run on something. He just denied it because he didn't want to hurt his buddies in the oil industry. He also borrowed the most of any President: a little over a trillion dollars from China, Saudi Arabia and others. Any economist will tell you that would depreciate the dollar's value raising prices of everything. And for what? When he went into office he had a surplus! He wasted that and plunged us into a deficit inducing war.Independence from Saudi Arabia? Maybe after we pay the bill he left us with interest.

"Juno" (the movie in question) isn't about a girl who gets pregnant and has a great time of it. It's about a girl who gets pregnant and the hardships she endures because of it, like the father being deficient in the support department, to becoming an outcast at school, to considering giving the child up for adoption. Doesn't sound glamorus to me.

Romulus is totally right. Nothing makes you feel more manly than a woman who enjoys your...business so to speak IMO. Technique is paramount, and it starts with being an attentive partner before you even undress. The problem most likely stems from lack of proper knowledge of the female anatomy on the part of the japanese men in question. Ron Jeremy, who made his living knowing the female form, says that one should approach a woman like you never been with one before. All the things your ex liked go out the window. Ask what she likes. Most women will apprecate your commitment to her enjoyment. I highly suggest you read "She comes first: A Thinking Man's Guide to Pleasuring a Woman" by Ian Kerner. It's very informative.
