death sentence might be a good deterrent, drivers these days very rarely stop on turn even if the pedestrians is literally in front of their car... which is supposed to stop in case they see anyone even near the intersection. I literally had to scream at driver to stop few times in those cases. Real deterrent like highly publicised execution would be amazing.

Posted in: Oil prices have been dropping for the past few months, so why aren’t fuel surcharges on airfares coming down?

Dont know, I feel that family do bore responsibility, in fact I would place the responsibility on the son given advanced age of the mother. Obviously laws need to change and at certain age and with certain illness ( such as dementia ) it should be required by medical services to evaluate the living conditions and produce a waiver , either that person goes under permanent government care of the family assumes all responsibility. heart or not heart , those lines should be drawn out clearly as soon as possible given the increasing age of general population. Maybe now only this person was killed, but what if i train derails because of a similar issue...

One, thats wrong, I am an immigrant son of immigrants of family of immigrants and my family did suffer in Russia and Germany. and most real immigrants think exactly same as me. Second "refugees" dont want to go to countries assigned to them, they want to go to countries they know will give them free things.. ala UK and Germany.

Nobody attacks the child, that child was paraded as cameo of the refugee struggle .. which is simply false.

refugee struggle is very very limited in reality., there is an opportunity to get new better ( maybe ) life in the west so everyone able is trying their luck .. but since majority are uneducated people coming from backwards societies , they cant integrate and will just bring same lifestyle over.

EU should follow Japan, tight control and integration follow up for up to 100 / 200 a year tops.

they are not refugees, stop calling em that.., less than 30% are and finally EU countries starting to ship em back... and also please stop with ridiculous "think of the children " talk.. that Syrian kids death fault lies SOLELY with his family, they were not refugees ,they preferred to try their luck to get free money from EU when they were living in Turkey - free of any persecution... so yes criticizing them is not just justified - its important!

The islands are only disputed by Japan, originally belonging to Ainu, where divided between Russia and Japan in 1800 something and when Japanese forced attacked Kamchatka, Russia took the whole thing back during second world war.

So any dispute is really one sided, and its super nice from Russia to let Japan on the business opportunity.

I applaud Japan immigration services, well done, Must have been properly screened and carefully considered. Besides I dont really understand how a refugee would reach Japan anyway...
