I think that since the election is for all intents over and mccain and the repubs are toast there is no harm in being honest and admitting that our hatred is one of the things that unites us.

Good show overall. Good balance of what the apathetic, mostly non voting public anyway needs to be reassured with, right down to the flag pin that Obama displayed. You can see why the idea of peopling the audience with genuine-looking supporters was necessary, even if they had to bus them in. Saul would be proud. Lemming day approaches for all republicans.

It was a grand speech. He aims so high to inspire. Barrack Obama always reminds us of Nelson Mandela and Mohandes Ghandi and even Che. It's a shame that as president he'll probably still be expected to attend to alot of really mundane matters.

I, I would have to say, it's gone beyond thunderous. Why don't people take the word of the film maker Spike Lee?
LEE: Look, I'm not a delegate or anything like that. I'm just here to witness history. So I want to bear witness to history. I think this is a great moment not just American history but world history. So I'm glad to be here.
Maybe they are all just playa haters. It's all I can see.
"REPORTER: Did you ever think you'd see this day in your lifetime?
LEE: Never. Never.
REPORTER: What does it mean to you?
LEE: It means that this is a whole new world. I think...I've been saying this before. You can divide history. BB Before Barack. AB After Barack.
I can't go on typing.
My tears are mingled with Spike's...

It was a grand speech from Clinton. It makes you forget he was ever impeached! I always felt Clinton governed too much from the center. And Gore would have done the same thing really. But I believe america is ready for something different.
