Barack traveled to Pakistan in 1981 when it was in great turmoil.

He was waaaaay ahead of the curve. He had a room mate in New York who was a Pakistani national. So I think we can safely say He understands their problems. We all know attacks like these will cease when he is finally elected.

Obama may not know bubba speak but he is getting through to the average American now.

You are right. And Joe "Sock Em" Biden was right when he said Barack is too intelligent for small town america. The portrait He painted is true:clinging to guns and religion and antipathy to anyone who isnt white.

Pakistan is a deeply religious nation...Take a look at the size of that crater.

You sound like a real hater. I hope you are not being facetious here and trying to say that Islam makes blowing up your enemies a sacrament of some kind.

Barack is already using his growing clout.

Organizers of the Iran rally were threatened with loss of tax-exempt status if they invited Palin.

    Brilliant move!

Are you Russian? Is your current alias a codeword for Putin?

I'm american. If mccain wins I hope to become Canadian - like you, buddy.

The sanctions prove suspicion on the part of the sanctioners. They do not prove that Iran is seeking nuclear weapons.

    Again, very well argued, comrade.

Its great how in this instance Europe, to whom us american progressives instinctively bow, is once again quietly ignored.

His intial name for it was the fancy garage door opener.

Hahahahahaha, too funny. Good one, comrade.

That being the desperation to hide what it really means - the failure of Capitalism and the revealing of the greedy parasitic thin layer of society that have sought to hold it together for so long.

    Funny, isn't it comrade?

People like you and I and Barack have known this, have seen it coming for decades.

And still you these mental midgets like warren buffet jumping back in by Friday.

Republicans and their lousy oversight of the economy are to blame for all this. MacCain is doomed.

Props to you my friend. That is talking point numero uno. Say it often and, as Barack recently ordered us to - GET IN PEOPLE'S FACES!

Otherwise, those NY Times articles from 2002 and 2003 which repeatedly show bush and the repubs wanted more oversight for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in particular, are gonna kill Barack's hopes.

If you ask me, the invitation to Palin to speak was ill-considered in the first place. It was probably motivated more by her ability to draw a crowd than it was to say anything meaningful.

    Well said, comrade.

The last thing our beloved New York needs an influx of repub stepford wives.

Look, palin can't come because she is not welcome. Its that simple. The heiress to the Grand Hyatt in New York (where our revolutionary ally Mahmoud Ahmadinejhad will stay) is Penny Pritzker. She is one of Barack's top campaign financiers. She gets to decide who comes.

She's tough. I think palin is no match.

Barack's hometown paper wrote this about her:

    Top 10

"The Pritzker holdings constitute one of the top 10 private wealth buckets in the U.S.,'' says Byron Trott, vice chairman of Goldman, Sachs and Co. and lead investment banker for the Pritzkers and Buffett. "They've compounded wonderfully in value over the last 15 years, and Penny is one of two key operating executives.''

"The other is her cousin Thomas, 58, chief executive officer of Global Hyatt. The company operates 136,000 rooms worldwide. Marriott International Inc., the world's largest hotel chain, operates 545,000.

Pritzker has spent a good bit of her career fending off criticism about her family and her role in its businesses. U.S. government officials sued the Pritzkers to collect taxes from her grandfather Abram's estate after he died in 1986.

    Hard Fighters

"The case centered on hundreds of trust funds Abram had set up in the Caribbean to avoid taxes. In 2001, an Illinois savings and loan that was once headed by Penny collapsed. Some 1,400 depositors are still out about $10 million, says Clinton Krislov, an attorney suing Penny and bank officers on their behalf. That same year, part of her family turned on her when seven brothers and cousins alleged in court documents that she'd enriched herself at their expense."

Barack will double the capital gains tax. Put the middle class in their place by showing them how wrong it is strive for 'more, bigger and better.'. It might seem counterintuitive, but thats cuz repubs don't understand social justice and the importance of redistributing america's ill gotten wealth.Watch the right wingers try and bring up Barack's admission of only a few years ago that He and Michelle's own finances were a mess til His late thirties when the first of His two now classic autobiographies lifted Them out of the kind of poverty that the international socialists on these boards have pointed out greets EVERY African American in the states (except Oprah) on a daily basis.

Barack is a genius not just with words but also numbers.

According to the IRS, the top 50% of all earners in the united states pay 96.93% of all income taxes. The bottom 50% of earners pay 3.07% of all income taxes.

Its almost a shame that it was from the mouth of Joe Biden and not Barack's that recently came the instantly immortal quip: "paying more in taxes is the patriotic thing to do for wealthier Americans."

Someone gets a lot of fun out of the whole charade, and in the end it isn't the voters.

Who is the someone? Lets name some names. Destroying sarah plain won't be enough.

Don't forget, Bill O'Reilly has also stated several times he thinks Obama is a tough guy.

Look, oreilly is a purveyor of hate.Even if he says something that SEEMS positive about Barack you can be sure there is racism encoded in his words. Join me in refusing to capitalize his name and maybe we can bring them down.

And if you think this is a witch hunt, I cannot even begin to imagine what you thought the flag lapel pin thing was.

Barack wears a flag pin, okay.

Get over it. He is NOT a Muslim.

Cool thing is Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are going to see to it that Congress does not and cannot act on this problem before adjourning Sept 26.

I'm so proud of my party. They know Barack is gonna win. So just wait til January.

    Screw the little people.

repubs will get all the blame.

    Hahahahahahaha. Too funny!

I can't imagine him not sitting at home, secretly thinking, "THIS is who they went with instead of me?!?"

Barack's campaign, in true fidelity to its core value of change, picked Joe Biden for what will be the historic VP slot.

I think even mittens recognizes it was all over then.

Yes, mittens had the presidential hair that mccain didn't,and making him vp seemed to be just the way to balance the ticket, but NOTHING spells gravitas quite like Joe's Biden's hair plugs do.

Brilliant! Never again will they mock Barack for the metrosexual thing.

Obviously mccain panicked. Who wouldn't? And then he picked the hockey mom, probably on orders from rove, who has conceded defeat but already has one cold eye on 2012.
