I'm seriously sick of all this fake looking CGI, it looks comical. You have good CGI which is great when done properly and you have comical CGI. Heck the old days of props and models look more realistic sometimes then some of the CGI in some of these movies (though some do it really good too).

Most detectives are not armed, seems like they fell back, called for backup as the guy ran 500yard and drove away in a car.
Of course watch the thumbs go down on this one!

The only few concerns I have with the new system is that many cards will be issued once you enter Japan, would this not make the lines even longer for foreigners entering / re-entering Japan? I mean it does seem like it would take time to have the additional information checked, plastic card to be printed and given out on the spot.
I do like the no-longer having to fill out a re-entry permit and going to the immigration office, only having to be turned away to the combini in the building to buy a stamp from the combini then go back up to fill out the forms. Seriously? Why couldn't they just sell the dang stamp directly? At least we don't have to do that mess anymore.
In addtional, the current ARC allows us to use a Legal Alias on the card as registered, does the new Resident card allow this?

New Years, I would of thought the guy was drunk or something. Not everyday a fugitive who's been on the run suddenly turns himself him, especially on New Years eve.

Things have to be put in perspective beyond the headlines. 7.0 at the epicenter, hundreds of km underground, hundreds of km away from Tokyo. So by the time it hit's Tokyo, it was something like a 4 on the JMA scale (not sure the exact recording).

Happened last Thursday.
"Touching the thigh" isn't very clear. Though in this day and age, I always try to keep my hands WAY up holding the strap hangs or in "plain sight". While this guy has admitted to being guilty, tooo crowded trains and something innocent and next thing you know it you're in handcuffs.

Remember, real life is not like TV or the movies, some crimes go unsolved. Some crimes get solved yearrrrss down the road. The criminal does something stupid and gets caught. From the looks of it, DNA evidence was collected, the bozo has to do something stupid and get caught.
There are many cases in history that show how a criminal has been found in the least suspecting ways, the Son of Sam was through a parking ticket, they got Al Capone on income tax invasion (though never on the more bad stuff), etc etc. Time will get this guy!
