Judged dismissed the case:
From other news sources:
> A judge has acted to put a Japanese employee of Honda Motor Company out of his misery by dismissing immigration charges against him, three days after he was booked under Alabama's new immigration laws that have been billed as the most swingeing in America. Ichiro Yada is one of about 100 Japanese managers of the company on assignment in southern state
Yada was stopped in Leeds, Alabama, at a checkpoint set up by police to catch unlicenced drivers. He was ticketed on the spot, despite the fact that he showed an international driver's licence, a valid passport and a US work permit.

Idiocy on both sides.
You know the liver is dangerous, yet you request it = bozo.
You are the chef, you know you are in deep kim chee if you serve a banned part and the person gets sick = bozo.
Both need to go to jail.

Unless you are an impatient pilot . Not the first time a pilot has taken off without proper ATC clearance. Thankfully this one didn't end up in disaster.

Ask everyone to leave, Mr. Woodford also should step down himself and let the company be taken over by a complete outsider with no ties to Olympus.

Truth is no matter where in the world you go, if you took a radiation measuring device with you, you are bound to find locations / spots that have much higher levels of radiation readings that is not normal for the area. Be it a patch of mud, a puddle of water in a corner somewhere, the brick from a house etc etc.

outrages in the sense that people in the USA itself would demand more, who can blame the Japanese on this. As an American myself I find that "punishment" he received to be ridiculous.

Five year driving ban! Thats pretty lenient. Even if something like that happened in the USA itself, a five year ban on driving would be outrages.

Because some American cars are bigger then Japanese firetrucks!
Kidding aside, the market isn't there. You got tons of Japanese car models to choose from, and honestly I'd rather choose a Subaru over a Ford in Japan or in America.
Posted in: Last year, Japan exported 1.5 million vehicles to the United States, while U.S. automakers exported just 8,000. Why aren't U.S. makers selling more in Japan?

I'm too sure Japan will grant this guy nationality in order for him to compete in the Olympics, it's not unheard of (for Japan or any other country to do). Of course the rest of everyone else have to wait 10-20 plus years and hope they approve to look at the application.

That's a common sight for years, I watched a documentry on it a few years ago. They don't generally show up until the stations about the close, they camp, then by morning rush they are gone.

It's like that movie the Interpreter. The US would not look good if protestors threw an egg onto the Chinese President. Yeah I hate having road blocks etc myself. I wish they can find some deserted island to do these types of conventions on instead.
