I think it that if it was murder it was one of his fellow inmates. Problaby something was said that lead to his murder ... IF it was murder.

It'll be interesting to see the spin they put on this movie, war-criminal or a misunderstood patriot doing this best for Japan.
A few months ago I watched a fairly new Japanese movie about the Cowra breakout in Australia. It seemed to stick to history quite well, so we can only hope with this new movie about Tojo it will be (fairly) historically accurate.

There will always be a market for the Carpenters music, and I'm sure he makes a good living doing the circuit in the states. Reunions and tribute bands can make a good living. How many Elvis impersonators are there in the world still?

I got the feeling from reading many of these posts and even talking to many Japanese people themselves that religion is about Western ideas and Western definitions, therefore the Japanese are not seen to be religious. I think it is much more than that. Anyone can even have a look at Wiki and see a number of definitions.
At a glance the Japanese appear to be very superstitious. Superstition is based on certain "other-worldly forces" in the universe. For me that is the same as religion. And the interest in the occult in this country is extremely high.
Also many of their beliefs and daily influences come from Shintoism which is a religion.
Superficially, to people from more Western countries the Japanese don't appear to be religious. But once you actually see what people do here, they definitely are religious.

It is difficult to believe that any kind of conspiracy exists in this case. I completely agree with bigearwax. He committed murder, but it was only (sorry to sound cold here) his wife not a big name American politician, policeman or other kind of celebrity. And I seriously doubt anyone from Japan could arrange this kind of killing in an American prison.
If he was murdered (and a big "if"), it was probably done by a fellow inmate in retaliation for something that happened in the prison. But even if that is true, wouldn't there be some evidence of a struggle?

Mental instability? Give this guy some help then. I don't think putting this guy into his friend's custody will help him at all.

People here love to brag about the advances in technology they have, but any sort of problem is covered up, don't let anyone see it ...
I think once Japan makes advances in its own culture, it will be a truly advanced nation. Being able to talk freely about these problems, without fear of retribution or shame, is a sign of maturity.

"I don't like this trend of Japanese (not to mention other countries) females trend of dressing skimpier and sexier. Whatever happened to dressing with class, dressing sexy doesn't have to be "dressing" in tops that expose your belly and that nasty tattoo right above your rear end, and skirts that barely cover mid thighs. And it seems like younger and younger girls are being "encouraged" to dress skimpy. It is really a sick trend. I don't have anything against adult females in certain situations dressing in sexy or revealing clothing (such as promotions of events, modeling swimsuit, sporting events, etc.) but can we please bring back some class and dignity?"
I think this is the first time that I can safely say ... I completely and 100% agree with rjd jr's comment. Girls don't have to be near naked to be attractive or sexy.

Are you serious LionRatty? Do you watch much Japanese tv?
You should compare some women like Seiko Matsuda, BoA, Kimura Yoshino in their younger years and now, they just look so very, very different. Getting eye work and/or teeth work done, extremely common in Japan.

A great actor pictured with a not-so-great actor .... Daigo. McAvoy will hopefully go on to bigger and better things, Daigo I think will eventually fade away (but I have to admit from what I've seen of him on tv he does appear to be a really nice, but rather air-headed, young man).
