I think the last laugh is on these kinds of women. Once they lose their youth (and accompanying looks) they probably realise they shouldn't have treated those men so badly, because they will be so alone ...

"Seems best to stay far away from the kitchen if you get into an argument with one".
Yep, I'd never get into an argument with a kitchen either (sorry ... just couldn't resist!).

If she really hated her father, why didn't she move away from him when she was younger? If she had done at least that, this crime might never have happened.

Very interesting article. Maybe this is one of the reasons why there might be fewer lawsuits in this country than in others?

"Cacasians are more racist than anyone else in the planet. Seriously !!!! I am not saying all are racist in America. If you do not believe me watch Fox News. They really do not have a Black , Spanish and/or Asian Anchor Reporter. It's all blonde ladies or white men".
Another silly comment. And maybe Fox is just aiming at its audience? To come out and say that they are rascist just because the don't have someone from a certain "ethnic" group as an anchor reporter is rather silly. Or it could be any other reason as well.
You can go to any country in the world and see that rascism exists. I feel a bit sorry for America and Americans in general as the US having been one of the superpowers in the world for a long time is under constant scrutiny and having a more transparent society than some others.
People have long been allowed to freely go to America and report back home about the problems they have faced there. Why do people go to America? Because it is seen as a country that has something to offer immigrants who go there (obviously far more than their home countries).
It would be really interesting to see what would happen if a whole pile of "caucasians" suddenly picked up house and moved to some countries in Asia, Africa or South America. I'm sure they could easily find problems facing "caucasians" too.

For a guy who is supposedly so in love ... don't think he is really making a big effort to marry her. Sounds like that movie is far more important.

The article doesn't mention loveless at all, it just says, "sexless". Just because they don't have sex, doesn't mean they don't love or care for each other.

To be truly eco and caring about the environment, I think they could actually do it on the cheap ... and copy from weddings!! A couple of pieces of sturdy string tied to the rear fender and a few (recyclable) aluminium cans tied to other end ... now that could make enough noise!!

"I didn’t write that book. The editor sent me a draft including actual names of people who had been publicized in weekly magazines back then. I was baffled and requested some changes to be made but was told there was no time, and the book got published".
This strikes me as rather incredulous. Certainly she could have pulled the plug on the project or made some legal threats to have the project pulled until the errors were corrected. But she didn't and allowed it to be published knowing full well that there were errors. It boggles the mind.

I hope he can do it, and it would be a very good idea for Japan. But I think it would bring with it a certain amount of pain until the politicians were able to gain the necessary expertise to govern by themselves without the bureaucrats. They haven't had that power/knowledge for 60 years, they won't get it overnight. But I really would like to see them try.

Just allow us foreigners the right to vote in at least local elections and I'll become a little vocal of my criticisms of Japan. And the other things I'd like to see change (which are probably just as important or even more important)... 1. kill off that ridiculous amakudari system, as I'm sure it just encourages people to become public servants; 2. reduce the amount of public servants and their perks in general.

I really don't enjoy getting hugged by people I don't know well. And I feel extremely uncomfortable if I get hugged in Japan by younger people who think they should be automatically doing it around "Western" people.
