Ha ha! If the average "Joe" really thought the liberation sucked, we'd have hundreds of thousands or even millions throwing their shoes in the direction of the president

can't let this slide. if the 'average joe' could get within chucking range then yes we would see millions of people throwing their shoes or preferably worse at the president of the usa. millions of americans in fact. it's a bit tricky however to get the opportunity, and the possibility of being locked up and waterboarded for doing so is something of a deterrent I would imagine. I mean, seriously, how can you possibly believe otherwise?!? really??

agreed, kids shopping in Ginza are probabaly going to get spoilt rotten anyway. however the purpose of this pr stunt is to get shoppers in Ginza to buy more toys, they just shouldn't make it look like they are doing anyone a favour except themselves

My friend gave me a pillow once with a funny phrase on it. you can make a nice jacket from 24 cat pelts. My chinese freind thinks my cat looks different to Chinese ones.

In America, just about everyone has seen an interrogation on television and in movies and they think they understand it. It seems so simple and it’s wrapped up in a 30-minute episode. And that, honestly, has influenced sometimes some very senior policymakers in that they think they get it, they understand it.

They will say anything you want eventually. That is the problem.

the sad truth. torture as a reliable interrogation method has been widely discredited. there has very very rarely been any useful or truthful information obtained by torture. the people who greenlight it simply don't care

nearly 200 dead in a subway fire in Korea in 2003(arson in that case but with fire and smoke in an isolated area how it starts makes little difference). Didn't take long for people to forget and go back to being idiots.

The sad thing is BlackFlag will never have a moment of clarity and understand that the tough decisions Bush has made are the right ones, resulting in an awful dictator brought to justice, and a government in Iraq that doesn't seek WMD or threaten its neighbors.
