I only see him making it to about 48 anyway, so I dont think it will matter. This is just one of the many interesting subplots of baseball this year. With 3 teams tied for Pacific League lead and 3 Central league teams so close to each other, one game just might make the difference.

So you wake up leisurely around noon, go to work about 6pm, do a couple of dudes for 10,000 yen a pop and home by midnight with 20,000-30,000 yen per day in your pocket. Dont want to go one day you just live off the money from the previous day's work or work more the next day. Assuming you have no self esteem (which you dont because you arent willing to actually WORK for a living), how is this a BAD job?

Nice try, but no... As a man I do not have a NON gay option to do what they are doing. They dont have to do anything with people of the same sex, so its apples vs. oranges. These women can do the same thing they used to do for free at the end of the date yet they can make obscene money easily in short bursts of time doing things that everyone does in daily life.
So they might not have the "opportunity" to have a penis, but I dont have the opportunity to have breasts so I have to actually get an education and work at a job I dont like in order to make money.
So some women choose prostitution just because they dont have a penis? Uh no, they choose it because they CAN because they dont have a penis and because it is easier than working hard and getting educated. Women AND Men both take the easy, lazy way out, only difference is the women can still make money that way.

Well, that can for anybody. If I only had a better job available to me, then I wouldnt have to work at the crappy job I have now. But you know, they dont just GIVE AWAY better jobs, you have to earn them and put preparation into education and get work experience. The mindset of the type of girls who get into this kind of stuff to begin with is not the one of education and hard work, it is the mindset of what is easy to make money with the least amount of effort. Otherwise they WOULD be working in a better job with a decent salary because they would not be spending all their times at these parties chasing the easy money. To hear some of you tell it, we should just give any woman who wants its a VP or CEO position so they wont have to become prostitutes? Ok then where is the job someone going to just GIVE to me? thought so....

These same manga that people are complaining about being childish, is the same type of stuff most guys in Japan are reading on the train. So why not communicate in the format that most people are used to reading? Sure, they are putting out the viewpoint that suits the bases, but adult people should have the ability to read it and see for themselves if they agree with what is being presented or not. When they passed them out in 2008, there were long lines to get them and they ran out, so the demand is there.
And yeah, they open up the bases for fireworks festivals, Halloween, etc. If the Japanese people dont like that or feel they are being manipulated, then they wouldnt come, right? But they do so what does that tell you? Tells me that the majority of Japanese people support the overall idea of being protected by US forces and would like to know more about it, so the manga will serve that purpose to show how the US perceives the alliance.

A few comments:
I am able to get better looking girls than others think I should based on my looks because I know what girls want and give it to them, while making sure to get what I want in return. Don't hate, appreciate!
The girl Mika in the article is full of crap, "friendly and domestically minded"? Im sure she grew up with the comedy "Friends" and the Joey character is the most guy, and is EXACTLY like the guys she is complaining about, trying to screw everything that moves.
It is always claimed the girls with foreigners are less attractive. But funny how Japanese guys and girls dont think these girls are unattractive until AFTER they know they are going out with foreigners....
Guys, get over yourselves. Gaijins have all been sleeping with the same 10% of the Japanese girl population since the 80's, the other 90% of women want nothing to do with you. So stay within your 10% and you will do fine. Try to go outside it, and you wont be.
Western woman is just mad because the guys are getting laid without having to suck up to her and play her games. Girls make unattractive/non rich guys play games that good looking dudes and rich guys are exempt from. They simply dont like it when guys can decide on their own not to participate when Japanese girls let them get laid without doing all that. So guys dont let Western Woman slow your your roll or take your mojo, just ignore and mute as required.

Takes a man AND a woman to make a baby as you know. So to blame bases/"randy soldiers" for the kids is just not right. There had to be a willing woman to lay down with the guy in the first place (or she was a prostitute and got paid for her time). The mother and the father should have had a method to stay in touch if they didn't I'm sure there was a reason why.
Im quite sure in most cases the fathers (or even the mothers in some cases who were hookers/sleeping with base people) don't realy want his "help". It seems he has a good heart, but my opinion is that he should focus on something close to home that he can do to help his own people first.

exactly, it is really easy to recommend restrictions of the personal freedoms of OTHER people who aren't in YOUR group. Thats ok though its not always going to be the military, sooner or later the group that you who are coming up with these judgemental ideas are in will be next. Then I am sure you will be trying to distance yourself and say that you are different from all the others in your group and that restrictions shouldnt apply to you
Basically, dont revel in the misfortune of others, because it comes back around.....

Its funny how all the "should be kicked out of Japan" or "should not ne able to drink alcohol" or "shouldnt be able to leave their home or go out at night" type people are so quick to apply that to a group that THEY dont belong to. How would you feel if the group that YOU are in was being targeted in that manner? Would YOU accept that being forced upon YOU just because you were a member of some large group of people you had no control over?
EVERY gaijin in EVERY category has the potential to create crime. (And hey Japanese actually commit crime too). So the way you deal with it is through education as a deterrent and punishment of offenders. You dont think these military guys get punished when they do stupid stuff? They cant just run away back to their country like some others can, they get the full extent of punishment allowed when, and only when they are found guilty FIRST.
