I personally believe that Horie was Shanghaied. How many bigtime corporate execs have done and are doing the same exact thing, and vhave gotten away with it? Horie got the shaft because he didn't fit into the "Oyaji/Bucho" mold, and went his own direction.

Some of the game show-types are pretty cool. The one on Monday Nights where the contestants finish by playing hyper airhockey is one that I enjoy, as well as one of the animal programs on Sunday night. But the rest, especially the ones where the celebrities act like total idiots…
