Any detraction from Former President Carter is a badge of honor. I think it is hypocritical at the very least that Mr. Carter -- a vehement anti-Semite in recent years, blaming Israel for things they've never done -- would point the racist finger at Rep. Wilson merely for speaking his mind during the President's most recent lie-a-thon to Congress.

I keep wondering when India and Red China will start cutting back, and when the rest of the world will realize that they -- not the USA -- are the culprits in this "Global Warming" thing....

He wasn't the PM I thought he should have been, but I think he did a good job, especially considering the two PMs before him being lame. Sorry to rain on Hatoyama's parade, but he is Shinzo Abe for the Democrats. He'll be out as PM within a year, and Ozawa will be in.

Not impressed with her. She seems like a high-class you-know-what to me. She can flaunt it all for cameras on stage or anywhere else, but once someone takes a snapshot of her with her kid in public, she goes ballistic. Thanks, but no thnaks.

I believe that Mr. Ozawa will be PM within six months to a year.
Prayers for you, Mr. Prime Minister.

Further reason for not wanting Tokyo to get the 2016 Games: Gov. Ishihara. This man is an out-and-out racist, and if he lands the games, he'll be hailed as a hero of sorts (but in reallity, wil be a hypocrite of the worst kind). His attitude is horrible towards foreingers, and Tokyo getting the games while he is governor would be a slap in the face of all things decent......then again, Beijing being awarded last year's games was a slap in the face of human rights. Who knows? In light of all that, maybe Tokyo WILL win, despite Ishihara's racism....but I hope not....

Honestly, I hope that Tokyo DOESN'T get the 2016 Olympics: the J-Media will never let us hear the end of it. Though I'm from the USA, I sincerely hope Rio gets the 2016 Games: South America has never hosted an Olympics, and in my opinion, it is way past time for it to happen.

My guess is Hatoyama won't serve long: somehow, I believe that Ozawa will end up being the Prime Minister within a year, if not sooner. Sorry to say it, but Ozawa looks too sly to be content to sit on the sidelines or with simply a cabinet position, while even during "victory" interviews, Hatoyama looked as clueless as a deer being struck by a truck's headlights....almost as if he didn't expect to win....

This Health Care Monstrosity will cripple the US Economy, and a vast majority of Americans are against it because they have seen what has happened in Canada, Europe, Great Britain, and elsehwere that socialized medicine has been instituted. President Obama and the Congress are goign to take a bad, bad hit if they try and ram-rod this through congress as the President and Speaker of the House want. It will definitely make 2010 and 2012 look VERY interesting....
