Interesting how it becomes "just a joke" when the victim in quesiton has the guts to go to the police. The fact that this guy is allowed to keep teaching is a disgrace....

Yes, it is a good idea. The work is readily available and hospitals and clinics are in a pretty bad situation. It is the samei n the USA.

The reason for "herbivorous 'men'" and their gaining in popularity is because so few children in the last 20-30 years have had any kind of real male, masculin role model here in Japan. trust me, whenever I see one of these boy bands, or many (if not most) Japanese Male Athletes and other celebs, "man" isn't the first word that comes into my mind.
Posted in: In recent times, many men in their 20s and 30s aren't preying on women, nor are they fixated with demonstrating their masculinity.

God forbid we actually come to a National Park or an International Natural Treasure and actually get to visit and view for free. I agree with hoserfella: the only thing "entrance fees" at Mt. Fuji will go for is slush funds, and some government bureaucrats' "personal" business....
Posted in: Entrance fees have become the trend at mountains worldwide. As long as it's a special-purpose tax allocated for the conservation of Mount Fuji, climbers would understand.

Yep, there they all are: the "Gun Control", "Ban All Guns in the USA" crowd on the left who take advantage of such a tragedy to blame the gun, and call for the USA to abrogate the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. Where were all of these people when the knife-weilding fanatic went crazy and killed so many in Akihabara last Summer? Why weren't they calling for the banning of knives, and the regulation of edged tools and weaponry and rented trucks (after all, the inasne-o did hit acouple of peiople with his rented truck)? To be sure, this was a tragedy. To blame the gun, or gun ownership, is the height of ignorance.
Moderator: Readers, the Akihabara stabbing rampage is not relevant to this discussion.

seesaw, why the stereotyping? Why is the man and woman who happen to marry above 3o suddenly "desperate"? Perhaps SHIHO wanted ot get herself established financially before marrying? Perhaps the right guy just didn't come along until now? Perhaps this Judo Dude also wanted to do other things before marrying? Perhaps he, too, didn't might "Miss Right" until he met Shiho? Why is it that when people marry for the first time above the age of 30, some people hafta' start with the "desperate" cracks.
At any rate, good for the both of them.

Yet, adaydream, what is the reason that President Obama is haivng it so good with Iraq? Could it be because of the troop surge strategy that worked two years ago when implemented by President Bush? President O's draw-down announcement then this suicide attack coming immediately after is really no surprise...

Funny: Daschle said, ten years ago as Senate Minority Leader, that tax cheats needed to "be dealt with". Well the voters of South Dakota "dealt with" Daschle a couple of Senate Election Cycles ago, and now, here he goes down in flames.

I think its interesting that Liberals and Democrats are willing to make everyone else pay taxes, but are not willing to pay their own. This comes as no surprise. Obama has preached change, but really this is no different than what we had with President Clinton.

Good to know, likeitis, that you are promoting underage sexual activity, especially among young girls. God help us when we, as a society, declare it right and good for 16-year-olds to have sex. Why not just hand keys of a bank to abank robber? and condoms aren't 100% effective, not by a mile. This kind of attitude is what makes a "woman's 'right' to choose" (legalized murder on demand) the law, and to the flames with the consequences. As such, how can you, in one side of your mouth, declare it "modern" and "forward" for 16-year-olds to have sex and get abortions, then, in the next sentence, say we need to regulate sex? You cannot have it both ways, likeitis.
Betzee, I have found, having lived in a state that was deemed economically backwards at one time (and in the opinion of many, still declared to be so), that even if and unplanned child arrives, the funds to take care of said child will be there.
