"American singer Mariah Carey, 38,"
That's right, she's 38 for those of you who didn't know - and DON'T FORGET IT. But I am wondering how old "NTV sports producer Kengo Okada" is.

Well, I guess the more American lives that are lost, the more Americans will realize what a big mistake going to war was.
So in that sense, yes, "not in vain."

Good, it's a bit better.
Now all you need to do is move those links at the bottom back to the sides and make those ads smaller, and we'll be set! Thanks for listening JT.

How long is the media going to follow Takahashi's every move? She won a gold medal 8 years ago and a few other races but she has been no more than an average runner ever since. Now, it seems as though we are constantly kept up to date on all her failures. I don't even know the names of the runners who are representing Japan this year in Beijing, because the stories are always about (with all due respect) a has-been.

easttokyo > Ha, I think I'll do the same. But first I'll have to get out my metric conversion calculator to find out what that actually is. Or I could ask someone from the U.S, Liberia or Myanmar, one of the 3 countries that haven't adopted the metric system yet.

yongfook > Are you a moderator/designer? I assume you are in some way connected to JT (and not just a yongfook) but your posts are in the same color/format as all ours.
Anyway, I don't know who you are referring to when you say people are bashing you for not making changes. It certainly wasn't me and I apologize if I have missed something.
But did you honestly think we would prefer bigger ads jumping out at us? I thought I had mistakenly opened the Global Health website!!

For those of you not getting the promised email, try your spam folder. Mine went straight in there...
And JT, I think the feedback so far demands some quick changes. The customer is always right.

Oh, and the current temperature in Tokyo is 18 degrees, not 11. 7 degrees off - totally pointless.

Sorry, don't like it much. The new color doesn't bother me so much, it's the layout. The old layout was much more simple and I was able to see most of what I wanted without clicking or scrolling too much. The ads seem to stand out more and, hence, they are more annoying.
The first thing that caught my eye (apart from the ads) was Tokyo's weather. I don't live in Tokyo and I don't care about the visibility. And wind speed? Only in mph?? This information means nothing to me.
I don't mean to sound like a whiner but there is nothing here I feel has been improved. I will probably be visiting less.
