Yea, grain-fed beef is messed up. We could feed ten times the number of people if we just ate the grain ourselves, and save rainforests through decreased demand.
Australia has never had a case of mad cow disease, unlike every other first world country, so I think their beef is high quality. Certainly higher than US beef but it's all basically the same.

I logged in to say 'loaded question' but I've been beaten to it. 'Pouring' in this context means wasting and wasting is bad by definition. So it's impossible to answer 'yes' without rephrasing the question in your mind.
Not every country in Africa is a basket case and in many cases aid has saved thousands of lives and increased quality of life. It's good to see Japan is increasing aid to Africa even though they have less obligation than countries that have screwed up Africa in the past (US, Britain, many other European countries).

That is impressive. I think Japan will always suck at rugby. They're just too small and not agressive enough. Stick to judo, Japan.

The advancement of science maybe? It's awesome that we're at this stage already. Soon billions of nanobots will be living in our bodies, repairing everything and preventing all kinds of diseases and aging itself. Go science!

Depends on context (obviously) but I think white people are more likely to be called 'gaijin' or 'gaikokujin' while black people are more likely to be defined by their skin colour (kokujin). Don't forget the pecking order: 1. Japanese 2. Whites from Western Europe, US, Australia etc 3. Blacks from US etc, 4. Other Asians 5. South Americans 6. Black Africans.
I am from Australia and unless someone with Asian skin is walking around in a tour group with a camera and a floral shirt we tend to assume they are Australians. However, the opposite would never occur in Japan.
On the positive side, Japanese people don't TRY to be racist, they just don't know any better. So I always take everything they say about non-Japanese people, places and things with a grain of salt.
