Not done by Americans first? I thought they knew it all when it came to building cars? Is this transmission made to accommodate the smaller higher revving fuel saving engines of today or can it be adapted to the huge V-8 engines often found in Corvettes, mustangs and the like? Will we see a Veyron with this type of transmission? A farm tractor? Outboard motors?

Here again throughout this article and the comments: "nuclear" power - a misnomer! They mean Uranium fissioning reactors! Thorium fissioning reactors exist and are so up and running in China - they have a CANDU reactor there fuelled with Thorium, a "nuclear " reactor to be sure, but not fissioning Uranium - this is the great difference! Thorium reactors do nor breed huge amounts of highly radioactive wastes - as do the American styled uranium fissioning reactors or any reactor that fissions Uranium. Do your science! Correct your English. Don't jump to wild, baseless, assumptions. Canada can sell you copious amounts of Thorium at very good prices, so can India - the ball is in your park, time now for Japan's world renowned scientists to work hard on safer thorium fuelled reactors for a safer, cheaper, heat source for the world. Love all mankind. Do no harm. Japan about to embark on free trade with Canada! Welcome to the bigger world.

Blatant refusal to differentiate Uranium fissioning reactors versus Thorium fissioning reactors! All are labeled 'nuclear" in this article - All Japanese must read www.theoildrum.com/node/4971 Japan's finest scientists in the world, can so run CANDU reactors on Thorium, as China does - or better: design their own LFTR reactors or better, and buy cheaper, more efficient, more plentiful, safer, Thorium even from India. Time now to turn away from the American styled designs as found at Fukushima, and reach hard for Thorium styled reactors - safer, cheaper top build, safer waste product by far, and possibly easy to fuel into the 22nd Century. Decision time is now for Japan.

Uber-Rich of this world, Arab princes, Saudi oilmen, Europe's elite, China newest multi-billionaires, Israel's Elites, Old Money Americans, Brazilian mega-billionaires, all, shareholders in the MIC (Military Industrial Complex) and they wish to "churn" the pot, to increase the "skim" the dividends in the companies that comprise the MIC, they live off of others, on the dividends paid by the corporations that manufacture the weapons of war for the world. American financial history clearly indicates that this was so for WWII, and very profitably so, for the very richest of American families, shareholders in these corporations in war. This is an old game now being re-played this time with China. This is how America survives now that the "low hanging fruit" of North America - the easy gold, the forests, the fertile fields of America are gone. Chinese Uber -Rich will use political influence to cause arms build-up, putting money into both Chinese War-corporations and American ones, knowing full well one forces the other to grow! This is racketeering on a world scale, just as was done by Germany and the U.S. at Britain's expense in the WWII situation.

Canadian "blank check" well received as payment in full for Canada's slot in the Western power Structure - seen as a bribe for protection, from a criminally insane U.S. government. We prefer more contemporary jets, or even unmanned fighter drones, as used in Pakistan today by U.S. forces, but are "not allowed" to have such potent weapons here, by those that would rule the world with an iron fist south of our borders. Thank God, Canada is safe for another day. Blank check may cost us our Universal Heath Plan, and possibly our Tar Sands Oil, but we will live another day, poorer every day now in Canada as the monster to the south sucks all value from our land. Flurry of deals made with China lately may save some of our assets, but who do you feed, the Dragon or the Bull on Wall Street?

Watch "Big Pharma" using the Great Corporate American Propaganda Whore, her controlled media, bought out scientists, sold out FDA, totally suppress, discredit, smear and 'disappear" this very valuable knowledge for all humanity, in preference to the Whores, highly over priced, highly over sold, and likely useless products.

Japan and Iranian Oil Resentment of U.S. policy even in Japan today. No strong political leadership emerging in U.S. today, Corporations taking that role, destroying the very fabric of that country - MIC (Military Industrial Complex) with American, Israeli and Saudi shareholders profits on constant war, feeds the myths of 'The Noble American Warrior,' even a part of the social fabric there now, to provide cannon fodder to arm the machines of war there. Once nation builders, today even American youth "train" on violent video games, war simulators, dumbed down at school for this "noble" purpose - to bully other nations to churn the war chests, for the shareholders "skim". Syria is provoked by Israel's Mossad, as they feed lies and money to discontents in that country - every damned Mossad member a shareholder in MIC stocks. Saudis not innocent either. Unfortunately Japan does not stand to profit directly from war with Iran.

Poor dumb anal delights here describe bio-concentration as a "good thing" Freaking idiots must re-read Silent Spring by Rachel Carson, must review the Minimanta Mercury story, must see the river at Spanish Ontario, Canada. Witness the effects of the bioconcentration on the native people there. anal delights ! have no idea! Birds eat sunflower seeds, fly radiation to new locations, poop radiation laced fertilizers in fields, fox eat birds, field mice, then larger animals, ever concentrating, ever climbing the food chain until it reaches the top. Who resides at the top dumb-asses? humans! anal delights here, poor deluded anal delights! Hard to believe! Pray this is deliberate propaganda, or meant as comedy, not the new American standard for Science education. Amen.
